I wish I would have come to Lake Tawakoni RV Center sooner, it could have saved a lot of headaches. When we were first looking at purchasing an RV, we went to all the big named dealerships, just to browse and see what we liked. We were being pressured and pushed in all kinds of directions, and completely pushed us away from purchasing a RV. After a while, a friend told us to check out the Lake Tawakoni RV Center. A bit hesitant to try another dealership, we went ahead and gave it a try. WHAT A NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE! I can say enough how impressed we were with all of the staff at the Lake Tawakoni RV Center. When we first walked in we were greeted by such warm, kind people, so eager to help us. When I spoke to our Sales Associate, Rebecca Stockton, she listened to exactly what our needs and wants were for the RV. Rebecca was so informative and helpful when we were trying to figure out which rig would be the best for us. When explaining what our hobbies were, and what we wanted to get out of the RV, you could see Rebecca's wheels turning in her head. Rebecca was able to listen to our pros and cons of each rig we looked at and was able to find the perfect match for us. When we first initially visited, we just wanted to look at the inventory and get a gist of selection Lake Tawakoni RV Center had. Rebecca asked for contact information, which I was hesitant to give her the information because the other dealerships would call, text, and email multiple times a day, and I did not want the same experience. Rebecca said she would never do something like that and would only send rigs that were similar to what we were looking for, which I said would be fine. Rebecca kept her promise, which is not something that has happened with other dealerships in the past. It was a few months before we came back in to purchase a rig, and Rebecca was ready to assist us. Rebecca was able to help us find our current rig, which we love. I cannot praise Rebecca enough for her help in the entire experience. When we found the RV we loved, here came the awful part....the paperwork. Everyone knows that the paperwork at the dealership is painfully boring. With the team at Lake Tawakoni RV Center, the paperwork wasn't bad. Kurt was fantastic when explaining the paperwork. If there is a question or concern you have with the paperwork, Kurt will help you out! Most interactions with dealerships are a headache and quite exhausting, Lake Tawakoni RV Center was not the same experience. I wish more dealerships were as friendly and efficient as Lake Tawakoni RV Center. In the future, when it is time to purchase another RV, Lake Tawakoni RV Center will be where we are going. A huge thank you to the entire staff who continue to answer our questions when we call, or even...
Read moreI've purchased 2 RVs in the past from these guys ..owner is Jerry son is Brad ..then when I came to purchase a 3rd one the owner tried to screw us out of thousand dollars. Brads agreement was to put 1000 down to hold the unit (even though it wasn't ready for sale in the first place they were going to have go thru it )..which was ok with us ..and if it didn't work out on final financing then we would receive a refund.Well it didn't work out and when we tried to get the refund Jerry said "the grand was for a down payment !".. when he was standing there listening to Brad telling us " if the deal don't doesn't work out then we will return your thousand dollars for holding the unit" we ended filing a dispute with BOA and they did get our grand back. But have to think how many won't fight the dispute and just walk away they lost a customer that had been with them for over 10 yrs ..we went to RV place in Canton .bought a RV and are purchasing 3 more at this time for employees that have to stay over night. Won't ever go back.. Brad is honest but owner try and screw you .. better watch out folks ! or if you have any conversation with anyone up there record convo on recording app. I was stunned Jerry would ever do something like this ! in the past never had a problem with the guy but I guess people change besides in the long run he kinda saved himself our attorney staff was fixing to serve him papers anyway that 1000 bucks would have ended up costing him alot more b/c his...
Read moreThe most dishonest people I’ve ever dealt with. I bought an as is RV. I fully understand what as is means. I understand there will be problems and that’s fine. But what is a problem is covering up those problems to sell a unit. When I started to look the unit over it was already plugged up to power. I wasn’t able to see it was already burned up and a fire hazard. But they did know and hide that from me. When I called and told them that they sold me a fire hazard they didn’t care and said as is. I told them that it could catch on fire while I’m sleeping and Elizabeth told me that there was a fire alarm in the unit. And when I said what if I’m at work and my dogs are in there alone she replied with it’s an as is unit. When I was inspecting the unit one of the technicians said there was an electrical issue but that he was fixing it. Nope what the liar really did was temporarily reroute power to show everything was working. And now that I’m setup at an RV park barley anything works. Again I don’t have a problem with buying an as is unit. But I do have a problem being sold a known fire hazard and having all known problems covered up long enough to get the unit of their property. I was told that they never did a full inspection on the unit. Clearly they did because they knew to cover all the problems before I looked over myself. Very dishonest and...
