Lovely RV Resort — Local services in West Tawakoni

First off this place is disgusting and trashed, second off it floods like crazy there if it rains there is constantly a half foot of mud and standing water everywhere. They require a 200$ non refundable deposit in case you don’t pay your last electric bill. Which oh by the way is also another scam, they aren’t even using the local co-ops meters and the local co-op only shows there to be 12 spots or so there and they have dozens and they don’t show you an actual bill with your electric usage they just send you a magical number. FEC ( local electric company) only charges 12 CENTS per kilowatt and there are charging 20 cents. THEIVES. And lastly if you pay for a month and have to leave early like your work requires you to do so, they do not prorate you for what you paid for and give you a refund they just say oh well you got the best deal since paying weekly is more costly. Not to mention all of west tawakoni is trash. The town is a dump and falling apart, mostly abandoned and full of methanites wandering...

My trip here was for work, I barely had time to explore the park :( but the dog park was sat up very well there was an outer and inner door, soggy bags + scoop/cleaning tools, cute park right next to it so you can watch the doggos and the kiddos!! The owners are very sweet and understanding as well as that helpful... I had laundry stolen at a local laundry matt and on my behalf he had called about the situation! Beyond respectful park and always kept an eye on things. Please follow the traffic speed limits! Only thing I have bad to say about this place is the location, this town is just bad news everywhere!! The neighbors are all friendly....but a little too friendly sometimes and try to be in your business,.. frankly it was pretty weird, there were random people walking and staying down by the trash often.. but a lot of people live here full time so I try not to judge. I'm just not a fan of the location and all of the people who live...

The owner called me today during the conversation twice he called me " douchebag." The second time I requested that he "stop using foul language like that please." His answer to that was more colorful than the above commentlet he made earlier.

Michael --the owner--is trying to do the maintenance of this facility by himself. Something that no one can do. The grass and weeds are still out of control around my space.
