Chromatic Spring si trova a 30 metri a ovest della Beauty Pool altrettanto colorata, ma più grande. Entrambe sono proprio accanto al sentiero e quindi sono facilmente visibili da vicino. La piscina blu-verdastra di Chromatic Spring ha un diametro di circa 10 metri, sebbene lo sfiato sia molto più stretto; la maggior parte è superficiale, ricca di sfumature colorate di rosso e arancione dai cianobatteri, i colori profondi indicano che la temperatura dell'acqua è relativamente bassa.
