WAS SEARCHING FOR MY OWN STOLEN JEWELRY (A FAMILY MEMBER) visited all pawn shops on Warren Ave in Garden City, MI. Saw a ring that I liked (not mine). Bought it had to have it sized, HE CHARGED ME $10. Picked up the ring and it was to small. The owner was irritated because he would have to bite the cost to have it resized. I bought the ring from C & L and he charged me 10 bucks for sizing. Told me I have to bring it back that same day or will be charged again for sizing. Not only did I bring the ring back to be sized, but a stone had fallen out w/in hours ... guess what? said I'd probably have to pay for that. Today was our second visit to C & L Exchange and, like our first visit, this was a pleasant experience. My wife and I like to visit local resale shops and pawn shops in the hopes of finding a guitar, bass or amp that we like. The staff has always been friendly, and is always accommodating as I plug guitars into amps and try them out.

We've had the privilege of dealing with Sandra on each of our visits. She's friendly, patient, funny, and never pressures the buyer into making a decision. We've been fortunate to find a couple of amps and a guitar that were priced fairly, and were in great condition at C & L Exchange.

I came in today in the morning with some jewelry, wondering if any of them are worth anything. Sadly, they weren’t none of them were real gold or silver. What I LOVED about what they did was taht one of the coworkers (idk his name) when he made sure my gold piece he Double checked it. And when he said “is not worth anything” this man behind him DOUBLE checked it AGAN! I love how they weren’t rushing things in the process. they took their time and made sure FOR SURE it was not real gold 😂 I’m definitely coming...
