Subway — Restaurant in Westland

Was walking with my sister & my nephew through Westland Mall today, watched a girl pick up food off the floor behind the prep counter with gloves on, after she threw it away, she turned around and wiped crumbs and food debris off the white prep boards (the boards they prep your food on) with the same gloves... Immediately afterwards, she took the gloves off and cashed out the customer she was taking care of and stood around. Sister looks at me, told her to say something, she went in the store and told them. They didn't wipe it down, and watched us stand outside of the store and wait for her to wipe it down, they didn't. Still prepped two other orders. I called corporate reporting health violations, also stated that the refrigeration unit was too high because there was frost on the inside of their containers, where they keep veggies. They told me that they would get ahold of the owner and I would receive a phone call. I received my phone call about 10 minutes ago. He stated that he reviewed the videos and it revealed that she picked it up with a paper towel with her gloves on... and that there was no frost on the inside of containers. I told him that I did not want to argue and wanted him to be aware. He continuously kept talking over me in a loud tone and did not want to listen to anything that I had to say. If anyone ever get sick from the subway, this is probably why....

Happened a few years ago but have heard service is still the same and concerns are not taken well with management. I have never eaten here after my last experience. Got food poisoning from a tuna sub. Went and told the manager on duty as a concern. Was very quiet about it to not allow other guests hear and also was just informing them they may want to switch out the tuna or not serve more. Didn't ask for anything in return, just being a good citizen. The manager proceeded to tell me he made the tuna that morning and there was absolutely no way I would have gotten sick 20 minutes after consuming the sub as food posing takes 48 hours to kickin. He also threw in my face that he's studying to be a lawyer and my concern was completely false and if I felt they made me sick that I shouldn't eat there anymore. I was shocked! I've had food poisoning a few times in my life and for me it's always within the hour I get sick after eating. This was the 1st time I had gotten food poisoning from a restaurant though and their response was complete ignorance and uncalled for by...

I never write views on places but This one of the worst subways I have ever been to in my life. I was rushed to figured out what topping I want on my meatball sub then when I sit down to eat it to find out that the bread was doughy even after she put it in the oven yuck I asked for a cup so I could get water and she told me that I couldn’t get a lid for my cup and I couldn’t get a straw I’m like WOW at this point. And this here took the cake for me there a restaurant full of people and there restroom don’t work and they tell you to go to the end of the mall to use the restroom just sad I had my elderly mother with me that walls with a cane omg she had a accident because the restroom was so far away THIS PLACE IS JOKE AND THE WORKERS WAS VERY RUDE AND DONT CARE ABOUT WHAT WAS GOING ON IN THERE STORE AS LONG AS THEY...
