Town 'n' Country Lanes — Local services in Westland

My son was in a junior league here for the past 3 years. The first year was really good and he really liked it. Every year in his age group the amount of kids declined. However this year we were really looking forward to him bowling in the High School league. He is an awesome bowler. We joined second half due to football. Very few kids bowling.. however the team he was put on the other bowler never showed up and actually only one team other than himself showed up every week. He constantly bowled alone and against no one. After voicing my dislike about this situation he bowled against the team that always showed up twice. After that alone and against no one for the next few weeks. I paid money every week for him to get the chance to be alone and not have a chance to win ?!?! They didn't seem to care. I committed to nothing else so he could be there and got nothing out of it. This past week I voiced my dislike about the situation again and they were rude and didn't care. We left without paying and will not be back for the remainder of the year or ever again. Very very disappointed in this league....

Funny story......one morning my girlfriend and I were bowling here at Town N Country and there was this older gentleman named Jimmy bowling with his granddaughter 2 lanes over from us.....he was coaching her and he was also watching us bowl...he mentioned to me that I should try to spin the ball and took the time to teach me how...everytime that I had tried previously was a total embarrassment...since then my game has improved as he said it would and I would kinda like to try and find him to thank him.....he told me a story of how he won a tournament when he was young and won a car but gave it to his brother cause he wasn't old enough to drive....this ring a...

They DO NOT cater to all genres of music. It would be nice to have a variety for your customers and the entire Westland community. Not everyone likes country music. As others have stated in their reviews the music is low, which I didn't mind since nothing was played that I or my family liked. Throw some oldies R&B & Hip-Hop in there...something! Also the computer on our lanes was broken and it took over 30 minutes away from our bowl time while the tech repaired it.
