Unfortunately, I can't report anything about the food because we didn't walk out with anything. My mother and I walked in, and was happy to see that there wasn't anyone in line, then we started to talk about what we wanted to order based on the photo menu options on the wall.
We stood in front of the register, thinking that someone would come out to take our order because we could hear a man talking very loudly to a woman in the kitchen. We waited a bit and looked at the paper menu on the counter discussing those options thinking surely someone would've come out by now as we were talking the moment we walked into the restaurant.
However, that did not happen!
The conversation in the kitchen continued with the man not skipping a beat in his conversation to the lady who had her back to the clear top kitchen door.
We're now staring at the back of her head that never turned around, and still hearing the loud man that never paused to greet the customers standing at the register less than 10 feet from them.
I even gave a quick little "Hello"....And Nothing. No one came out.
I've loved Mediterranean food for years, so I eat it very often but I've never been here before.
It was the closest Mediterranean restaurant to my mom's house, good star rating, and she was willing to finally try it with me. That experience was odd and ridiculous
We left and went across the street to...
Read moreFirst time coming here off of recommendations from locals. We, Mt wife and I, truly appreciate mediterranean food, and this restaurant did not disappoint! The gentleman behind the counter was overly welcoming and polite. The kitchen staff were friendly and fast, having our food ready in about 20 minutes.
Speaking of the food, I must say everything we tried was exceptionally tasty! We both ordered their trio combo, which comes with a sandwich, side, pita bread, and a pop. We chose to upgrade the pop to smoothies with a slight upchrage. It's totally worth it.
I had the beef gallaba sandwich paired with side of hummous. I loved both offerings! The sandwich was perfect with amazing flavors while the hummous was the right amount of creaminess. Such great flavors from both. As from my smoothie, I opted for the Honey Mooner, which was good but needed a touch more honey. Still, I enjoyed it.
My wife went with the chicken shish tawook and fattouch salad. She said it was one of the best tawook sandwiches she had ever had. For her smoothie, she chose Pina Colada and completely enjoyed it. All on all we enjoyed the food!
I definitely will recommend it and will be back soon.
Oh, and the baklava was really good. Grab some for dessert!
Edit: I have upgraded then from 4 star to 5 star!! They...
Read moreI ordered a shrimp shish kabob entree with a side of vegetables and my boyfriend ordered a lamb shawarma sandwich. We were very excited as most Mediterranean food joints we’ve been to have the best food and are known for their excellent meats that are well seasoned and fall off the bone tender. However we were left extremely disappointed. My shrimp was very dry and overcooked and his lamb was just as dry, tough and unseasoned. We ended up having to drown our food in garlic sauce to be able to eat it. Luckily we had a bottle saved from one of our other favorite places in the fridge. If the meat wasn’t bad enough, toward the end of the meal I realized the produce stickers were still stuck to my cooked vegetables. It made me wonder if the chef had even washed our food before cooking it. Horrible experience here. It was very careless, to cook these meals so awfully and serve them to the public. Do yourself a favor and go...
