My mother used them to have help in the house. First, she had a woman who refused to wear a mask even though she admitted she worked with Covid-19 positive patients. My mom is elderly with health problems so she put my moms health in danger. In fact, my Mother had to send her home because she wasn't feeling well one time! Plus, she complained about doing the work my mom actually needed because she "didn't clean". She loved one man who worked with her but they wouldn't let him come anymore because of an hour requirement? Instead, they wanted multiple people coming into her house during the pandemic instead of one person to minimize exposure. The kicker is a woman who interviewed my mother told the staff that her family abandoned her. This couldn't be father from the truth. My mother remains insistent on being independent and has turned down multiple offers to live with family members which is the whole reason she requested the service! So apparently they judge your situation without doing their due diligence. Find another agency that is better managed to care for...

Amber L. is phenomenal! My mom received a scam call from someone saying she won a large prize from Publishers Clearing House. Amber heard my mom giving away personal information and took over the call for my mom. The scammers hung up when Amber took the call. Amber IMMEDIATELY called mom’s bank and had them shut down her accounts. She also contacted the 3 credit bureaus! Mom could have lost everything if Amber L was not paying attention! Mom tells me all the time how much she loves Amber L and my mom is very picky with people. I will never be able to thank her enough! The VA has contracted with Comfort Keepers to send people out to help this old disabled Veteran with nursing home trips to visit his wife, grocery shopping and all of the many things i need to do weekly around my home. Over a period of nearly a year now, Comfort Keepers has sent several different people who were all very helpful and thoughtful. The latest and very best of all, is a young lady who calls herself "Q" and it turns out that in the past she was a caregiver in a nursing home memory care unit in another state and was CNA Certified.
