GO TO ETAI'S DOWN THE STREET INSTEAD!
I work at one of the larger businesses in this area, and my employer provides a lot of business to this restaurant. Between our 30+ staff, and our 300+ customers which are at our location daily, there is a lot of daily business that stems from our company, and we often have events at our business that requires catering. Additionally my husband works in the same industrial strip as Off Broadway, and he works for an even larger company, with even more people present everyday looking for a place to catch breakfast and lunch. So to you Off Broadway café: Your staff seemed more concerned with eating their meals, being right, and collecting money than any sort of customer satisfaction. If your business is solid enough with catering, and that's your focus, not the daily customers for individual meals, than maybe you should reevaluate your business, and cut out the restaurant portion. I encourage you to not nurture in these young cashier girls a position of rude, always right, entitled, lack of customer service approach, but to instead instill and require an approach of pride, customer satisfaction, honesty, focus, and to show them what leadership is so that they too can start tapping into those qualities someday. My experience today at your restaurant was horrendous, and I will not be returning, I will also be posting my experience/review on other social media outlets, as well as passing my experience along via word of mouth here at my company less than 1/4 mile away from your business. I will in the future, be ordering my salad from Etai's. I would also suggest that maybe the focus at your business not be so much on how can we offer no discounts, send out the least amount of food, and charge extra for everything and anything, but instead, how can we produce a plate, that will gain and retain a customer base, and follow that up with impeccable...
Read moreI’ve never written a review but I just need to share this. Every single time I walk through the doors, I get greeted by Ariel and Carrie. They are so incredibly comforting and nice and they treat everyone with respect. Today was incredible because I was having an horrible past couple of days and I’ve been down in a deep depression hole to be honest. I had ordered my food to go but then realized that I had missed my bus and had to wait and I was embarrassed to ask to switch to eat in but I had no where else to go. I had asked Carrie if it was okay if I ate in even though I ordered To-Go, and she told me “of course that’s okay, we want you here.” I needed to hear those exact words today because who knows if I would’ve made it to the end of the week. It hit close to my heart and I’m so happy she said that to me. These girls are amazing every time and I appreciate them so much! Thank you ladies for always putting my needs first and for providing great service every day. I hope you both have a blessed day and you will be...
Read moreCozy and clean. Front house staff is very nice and accommodating to special food needs. The problem…… while our questions were answered regarding allergies and the receipt was correct as far as substitutions and modifications, it seemed the kitchen just didn’t read the ticket or decide to cook any of the food correctly. Firstly, you don’t serve omelettes. That’s a scramble. I had triple sausage ordered. No sausage at all. Had them bring me the sausage in links, way undercooked in the middle. “Omelette” was so overcooked it looked like it was in a pizza oven. Brown outside and fluffy dry inside. Potatoes so undercooked I brought them home to crisp them up. Both of our meals were like this. Over or undercooked and missing what we ordered. It’s too bad. This could be a gem of a hole in the wall but it won’t be until you fix that kitchen and get consistent and care about giving out...
