A place to come together with the like-minded to talk about anything from Cryptid ,UFOs ghosts , myths & legends there's a different topic each month and then they have usually an outing once a year that they do or a quarterly. This last December they did a Masquerade Ball. A time to dress up & figure out the mystery . Spooky elegance at its finest. I'm hoping they hold another this year ! The owner and staff at Appalachian Oddity are v kind , very friendly have wonderful Hearts. Read moreThis is a delightful cute store, but I want to talk specifically about the escape room. As someone who does dozens of escape rooms a year- I found this one great. Unlike many out-of-a-box rooms, this one had all original clues and puzzles that were handmade, an appropriate level of challenge, and all on theme. The clue system was also unique in that there were clues throughout the room which could be opened for a time penalty, which were handcrafted letters that felt more immersive than the typical speaker system.
