i've never before written a bad review for a vendor; however, I feel I must this time. I secured a dance floor with a signed contract in August for my son's wedding to be installed on October 7 before 3 pm. I also later secured from the same vendor 6 high top tables and 12 stools for my home for an after wedding brunch to be delivered the evening of October 8. On October 5, I started confirming with all vendors time of delivery, and simply could not get confirmation from Weston Events. I continued calling, texting, etc fearing there was a problem with the dance floor until the gentleman finally assured me that it would be there but did not give me an exact time (just said before 3 pm although signed contract said 10 am). The day of setup, it was getting late so I asked the church young ladies to give him a call to see if he was on his way. The young ladies came back wide-eyed of how rude he was raising his voice asking why we were constantly calling him. It took him another hour to arrive with an incomplete dance floor so he had to leave to get the missing pieces. He then returned close to 3 pm with another dance floor that was not the color of the one I had chosen stating he did not have the missing pieces. At that point, we all had to leave for Rehearsal so we agreed to the new dance floor with the wrong color since we had no other choice. The 6 high top tables and 12 stools that had to be delivered the evening of October 8 were delivered at 9:30 am the next day even though the gentleman texted me the day before stating he was on his way; he never arrived that day. Needless to say, the guests were arriving already the next morning when he delivered. I have dealt in the past with this vendor, without any issues, but this gentleman is the one I mostly dealt with this one time, and I must say that I will never use them again. During a stressful time, I spent a great deal of time worrying about this vendor simply not responding or not setting up at the appropriate time and ended up with the wrong color dance floor without enough time to be able to secure another vendor. 1st thing I noticed when I went to their business is their friendliness. The reason that I gave them 5 stars is because of their honesty in doing the business. I ordered 30 chairs for our event and picked up 29 unknowingly and didn't realized the mistake until when it was time to return them. I was ready to pay for the 'loss' of one chair to which they said they would call me with the price for the new chair. Instead they called me to inform that I in fact picked only 29 as opposed to 30 chairs. I am very much impressed with their honesty when they had a chance to take advantage of the situation and charge for the 'lost' chair. Very bad experience my wife ordered chairs, tables etc for a party on Saturday night. My wife spoke to them several times prior, signed the agreement, texted etc. We had a bad feeling called to confirm the Monday prior to the event and no answer, I drove to their location to find out they moved. Their old neighbor pointed out their new space within the warehouse complex and I knocked with no answer. I even returned for a second time. Long story short they totally disregarded our order never answered so at last minute we scrambled and found another company to deliver. Beware and don't count on...
