Shibuya Grill & Sushi Bar Weston — Restaurant in Weston

After the third attempt at this restaurant we will no longer be coming back. To begin, their website checkout system is mediocre, the prices don't match up to what they have in house. Every time we tried to order it instantly declined the charge, no problem we'll pay in house(using the same card). Maybe there is a reason for the instant payment decline? Yes. The prices don't match up. Even after the order goes throughout gets placed on their website, call in to verify the order, verify the price. Upon checking out they upcharge the order. First time this happened, eh, the website must have not been updated. A year goes by, we try again. Same result, let that brush by, try another year later this time the charge is $20 more in store than on their website for the same exact dish. Honestly feels like a scam going on, not to mention their prices keep going up. Their menu, their in-house checkout software and their website prices do not reflect each other. How does a "three person dish" mind you just 3 small sushi rolls with 10 pieces each cost $65.Just to go to the restaurant and pay $85 instead, not to mention the individual cut roll sizes are 1/3 the size of a traditional roll. Will not be doing business here again.

The only reason they are getting two stars instead of one, is because the food is edible.

I just left an amazing dinner with my three young children at Shibuya. I was looking to visit my parents with the kids after dinner and as I am not familiar with healthy restaurants in the area, I googled “healthy food Weston” and I saw shibuya had a delicious looking vegan menu. The restaurant was easy to find, just off the highway, in a quiet and easy access part of Weston. Andres greeted us warmly and robustly right away and as I looked around, the restaurant was immaculately clean and had a nice ambiance. The menu had a lot of choices for all kinds of foodies. From the very basic to incredibly unique sushi combinations (and I have been to many sushi restaurants in my life - this was a gem to find!). The meat dishes were also delectable - though my oldest and I ordered vegan, I ordered the wagyu for my younger two. It came out raw for us to cook on a hot stone on the table which the kids loved. The marinade was delicious - and my picky eaters fought over the last piece. I’ve never seen these kids clean their plates like they did in this restaurant. Andres was very informative and hospitable, and the meal was enjoyed in the good company and welcome of he and his team in this intimate and well maintained establishment. He informed us that the vegan menu is expanding next week, so we will be back to try more very soon! You won’t be disappointed in the service or the food if you check...

My family and I love the food at Shibuya; it’s absolutely amazing. Especially the vegan menu. HOWEVER, the service quality has dropped tremendously since the first time we visited. I’m not sure if it is because of the change in waitresses, but everything is just.. bad. I even brought my dad and my nephew to see if it was just me and they both agreed it was really weird. We would ask the waitress for things and she never brought them, for example we had to ask twice for our waters because they never came. The soups we had ordered as appetizers came 20 minutes after the rolls. We just sat there with our supposed entrees waiting for the appetizers. Not to mention, we were the only ones in the entire restaurant. How could the waitress/kitchen be so forgetful if we’re the only ones there. I understand they were busy with online orders, but come on! Also, when my nephew asked for a simple 3 ingredient roll, the waitress looked at him very confused.. he made sure to clarify exactly how he wanted it (just plain old salmon, cucumber, and avocado) and of course, the roll came not how he wanted. I want Shibuya to succeed as the vegan menu is amazing and is a great option for vegans in weston, but with this service it’s hard to want to come back. I hope this review helps bring...
