I was very hesitant to call around for quotes because I was sure I couldn’t afford spray foam insulation, so so grateful for the recommendation to give these folks a call….it was one of the best decisions of my whole renovation project!!! I called told them what I was looking for, they came out the next day, gave me an estimate right then (which final quote was less than $40 more), the job was scheduled two business days later….and the end result is beyond what I expected. Wonderful and clean, the team was friendly and respectful, very professional and personable. Very question answered and stayed true. I have done a lot of reno on my project myself so I know for a fact I could not have bought the supplies to do this myself for the price they did and no way could I have done it in the amount time or to the level of quality…..and being in the Bay Area it is hard to find good quality people that give fair reasonable pricing for their products and services. POLAR INSULATIONS gets my vote for...

It's hard to believe the people giving all these positive reviews used the same business we did. My brother Tim and I built a home for our mother and have nothing negative to say about any sub contractor we used other than Polar Insulation. The insulation was not applied to the agreed upon thickness or R rating and when this was pointed out to Sean the turmoil began. We pointed out multiple areas in the walls and rafters and all Sean did was make excuses and refuse to add the additional insulation needed. Sean stated that the first inch of insulation was the most important, that the thickness was based on an average and then said that since we had brick, plywood, house wrap and sheet rock their application would be adequate. Even after failing the inspection he refused to correct the problem requiring that we get a more detailed explanation from the contracting company that performed the inspection. 5 stars honestly aren't enough! We've been living in our home with no walls or ceilings, and since the outside temps have been climbing into the 90s so have the temps inside our home. As a single mother with a teenager and pets to care for this just wasn't acceptable. Thankfully, my son's grandfather had used Polar Insulation and recommended them. Everyone I have spoken with from the office, sales, and management have been incredibly accommodating and understanding. They prioritized our job due to our living conditions and from estimate to completion only a week went by. The installation crew (Reece, Truman, Donald, and Avery) was wonderful! They were professional, kind, respectful, efficient, and cleaned up around themselves as they went. They were also extremely patient and answered any questions I had. My 3 dogs loved them, too! I will definitely be using Polar Insulation again when it's time for my next project and highly recommend anyone needing insulation services in this area to...
