My experience visiting COMPUTER VIP in July 2021 was so impressive that this review cannot describe how extraordinary Bill's service to the customer and the community is in fact; but I will try. The repair was quickly evaluated and executed. Also, the explanation as to what was done and what was wrong was patient and in "laymen's" terms as well as educational answering all my questions. But the EXPERIENCE of being in Bill's store goes beyond fixing a computer, building a web site or providing drone services to business and individuals; it was beyond the fact Bill collects old computers and parts "for cancer" it was truly an uplifting experience. He is extraordinary -- during my visit the door opened frequently to customers who were welcomed and acknowledged by Bill with no delay -- during my visit the door was also opened frequently with people passing by, perhaps visiting another store to warmly wave and shout out a "Hello Bill -- how are you?" -- during my visit I even witnessed a young boy perhaps a high school student or younger drop by to peruse the collection of old computers and parts, and I recognized this was a generous act by Bill close to a walk in Internship for a future Engineer or Computer Scientist. My own child now an adult Computer Scientist would search Craig's List for old computers dating back to the 70's for their "rarity and history" and other parts to build his own computers; so I know how much Bill's welcome and allowing the young boy search those parts must have meant to that young person -- I truly do. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI built my own PC less than a year ago. One day I was playing a game and all of the sudden I got kicked out and could not load back in. I tried to restart my PC and got the blue screen of death. Whenever I tried turning my PC back on I could not get past the bios. I had no idea what to do, I tried doing different things I saw online but nothing worked. I took my PC here and left it there for a day. While they had my PC I got some calls asking me questions and giving me updates on what he found was the issue. Turned out I had a bad SSD. My SSD had everything on it but nothing of importance, mainly games that I can just redownload. When I received my PC the next day, he had reinstalled Windows 11 pro on there for me, along with some bonuses like Adobe and a media player. Also, he recommended to reach out and see if I had a warranty that would cover my SSD. Turns out I have a 5 year warranty and I am in the process of returning it (I would not of thought to look into this if he had not mentioned it). I was recommended to go here by a couple of my friends and also my father, and I can see why they all had such great things to say. I would definitely recommend to anyone...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreExcellent customer service, very trusted place, knowledgeable technician, highly recommended. Yesterday, I brought my HP laptop to VIP computer repair because after turning the power on, the screen was just blue and nothing displayed. The owner asked me to leave my laptop there and he will call me later. Yes, about an hour later he called me and found the problem. The computer was running fine, the problem was the screen. He suggested that replace the screen is too expensive, but I can use the HDMI cable to connect to the external monitor. When I came back to his workshop, he showed me that everything was displayed on the external monitor. When I got home, I was able to copy files from the c: drive for my back up. The owner is very kind person. He didnāt charge me for anything and even gave me a HDMI cable for free. I will definitely come back to his place for future services. I would highly recommend this place to anyone if you need a service for your computer. Thanks so much...
