Went here on a Friday nite Nov 5. It was busy. The only place to sit was up against the wall with the bar or narrow table. The food here was very good. I was surprised at how delicious and well presented it was. I must say after eating I actually wanted to order more food it was so good. Which brings me to the reason I wanted more food; the portions are average but leaning on small. Hence one of the reasons I'm not giving 5 stars. The other reasons for docking 1 star. The price. I got a papaya salad and panang curry tofu, add extra veggies. The curry was just tofu and pea pods that's all. I was hoping for a good assortment of mixed vegetables. But it's worth it to repeat again the curry was so delicious and they spiced it very close to how I like it. The papaya salad was really tasty and enjoyable. Also; it did not have too much fish sauce and that's important as some Thai/Loatian restaurants add way to much fish sauce. My total was $28. Imho too pricey. Perhaps if the portion were larger it wouldn't hurt paying so much money. But as you see In the photos the portion amount would barely be enough to satisfy a child. Also the woman that showed me where to sit, took my order, served me food and cashed me out was not friendly. I don't think she smiled even once. Stern and had the facial expression of a drill sergeant. Perhaps that is due to being short staffed idk! In future if you hope to have repeat customers a slightly friendlier person at the front of the house. I must add that the food itself was so good I would endure the not so friendly host and come back soon; but the high prices and small portions are some thing that weighs heavily on a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame here with some friends after a hot beach day. It was empty, so we were seated right away. There is a parking lot, decent amount of seating, and a restroom. Our server was very friendly.
We ordered the combo platter, which allowed us to sample all of the different appetizers. Great for sharing and came with three different sauces but tasted average. For main dishes, we ordered the siamese twins, wild ginger pork, and penang spare ribs. We all enjoyed the ribs the most. Very tender and saucy. The siamese twins was just chicken and shrimp stir-fry, so nothing special. The wild ginger pork was also just okay, but it had a nice kick. For dessert, we got the Thai custard and sweetened sticky rice, which was very small. The Thai custard didn't taste like much, but I liked the sticky rice.
This was actually my second time here, but I didn't realize it at the time. I remember liking the pad Thai the first time...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI don't actually know about the atmosphere but I have gotten takeout and delivery from this place and it is absolutely dank. Tom Kha is one of my all time favourite comfort foods and I find it very difficult to find a restaurant that makes it just the way I like it. ā Everything they do is just a touch above, and it really makes a difference. Even guilty pleasures, like Crab Rangoon are EXTRA. Fresh Rolls ā And TRY the Tod Mun - in fact I have to thank them, the chicken and shrimp Tod Mun inspired me to make them with chicken and shrimp and now it's a household favourite. The lightness of the ground chicken and the shrimp with rich aromatics is just fantastic, and the sauce is BOSS. Lime Leaf may end up being my GO TO Thai place in the area, they never...
