We started by exploring a wide range of incredible scents—everything from warm and cozy (like Cranberry Cinnamon Clove) to bold and sophisticated (like French Bourbon and Caribbean Teakwood). The fun part was not just smelling them, but blending favorites together to create a custom scent that felt personal and unique.

Once we picked our scents, Julienne and Mike guided us through every step of the candle-making process. We learned how to measure and pour the wax, set the wick, and balance the fragrance. It was hands-on, relaxing, and surprisingly therapeutic! They explained the little details that make a difference, but also gave us the freedom to get creative.

What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was Julienne and Mike themselves. They are so genuine, knowledgeable, and fun to interact with—it felt less like a class and more like hanging out with friends who just happen to be candle experts.

By the end, we left not just with a beautiful candle that we created ourselves, but also with an experience we’ll always remember. Whether you go with friends, family, or even for a solo creative day, I can’t recommend this enough.

The owners are absolutely lovely – so friendly and helpful, they make you feel like you've been a regular for years. The atmosphere is just so relaxing and inviting, it's a pleasure to browse their incredible selection of candles. And what a selection it is! They have every scent you could possibly imagine, from classic favorites to unique and interesting blends. My favorite is Earth.I've bought several candles here now, and I'm always impressed with how long they burn. You definitely get your money's worth.

Beyond the candles themselves, I also took their candle-making class, and it was fantastic! It was fun, informative, and the owners made the whole process so easy to understand. I have been wanting to make my own candle for years now, but there were no locations in the near vicinity with promising reviews. I looked up places again a couple weeks ago, stumbled upon Seleta Scents, saw all the amazing reviews, and knew we had to come by. My fiancé and I made a unity candle for our wedding 8/17/2025 that has a very fresh, summery scent, along with a second candle that has a fall/wintery scent. The whole experience was incredible.
