UPDATE: I have to mention Big lots also has a credit card as well as a leasing program! I particularly like the leasing option it's face mostly on your income more so than your credit it's much easier to get approved for people even who have credit issues and you are able to lease to own any furniture appliances home decor there's a whole list that you can lease items for. It is 4th of July weekend and we noticed that they were having a 4th of July sale we went into the Big lots in Bridgeport Ohio to check it out and the leasing program was big time being promoted $1 down you know pay it off in 90 days and it's interest free etc etc My daughter-in-law is on disability has very limited income and is in need of a new couch and mattress so she took a chance and she went ahead and applied for the leasing program and she was approved for $2,000 to lease she could not believe it at all she was extremely dumbfounded but that just backs up what I said that it's based more on your income and what you could afford monthly rather than your credit history and all of that nonsense. So my daughter-in-law was able to get brand new mattress bed frame a brand new couch and some home organizing units new sheets and comforter set because she upgraded mattress size and a couple other items I can't recall at the moment All of it under the $2,000 limit ! We have yet to try and apply for the credit card however experiencing how great and reasonable and and manageable their leasing program is I believe that their credit card will also be at the same status. To when I fly if the fruit I will make sure to update this post again

Read moreAfter talking Bridgeport associate on Saturday while we were in the store and confirmed there was the recliner and ottoman in stock, we went to the Bridgeport store on Sunday to find out they only had the floor display in which we said we would take. The furniture manager Mike was a smart a** right from the get go. ( After waiting 25 minutes for any one to let us know that the floor display was the only one they had). After calling the store manager she then had to check to see if that one was on lay away by someone else. Seriously? If it was on lay away and that's the only one you had, why would you have it on the sales floor? While waiting on all of this, I called the store in moundsville and asked for that same.item explaining my situation. This gentlemen told me.indeed they could.sell me.that recliner off of floor display on the first place. Very happy with the recliner as we have purchases Simmons products in the past. The management skills st Bridgeport both furniture and store manager has a lot to...
Read moreI went to our local store to pick up an outdoor side table. The employee that checked did not have any more in the back, but gave my husband and I the ok to take the floor model and the tag with the SKU # on it to the front and to let them know. We did just that. However, it turned into an embarrassing mess as another cashier had butted into checking out, insisting they had to check to see if we indeed did have permission. We told them several times that we did, and that the person they kept insisting they check with, was not the staff member we spoke to. Several embarrassing minutes later, we finally were able to check out and purchase the table. We shop there a lot, and I don't appreciate being made to feel like my husband and I were liars. I will order online or travel to another store before I return there...
