Convergence Zone Recreation Center — Local services in Whidbey Island

The place is great, they have bowling, a little playground for toddlers, air hockey, ping pong table and several others things, but really what really fail today was the receptionist, a short blond and young girl ,she was so unwelcome, I ask for the offer of free bowling for kids and she walk me through it and give my kids the shoes and ask my size also, all this in a very sassy way, like I was bothering her or something ,so I was confused, I wasn't going to play but she was asking my size so I though, ok, this must be part of the offer, do I took it, because I remember reading something like that, like you could also go bowling with your kids this summer for free, and later 2 hours later, after I am done playing and all , she said, excuse me!! You still have to pay for your shoes and game! So I did, even though that I wasn't planning of playing and it was her mistake, I did because I wasn't going to argue a few dollars , but later my son went and ask for an xbox remote controlled and told him that it wasn't any available, and we just saw two people returning them!!😯, she lied to him, so I went there and ask her myself and she told me that is pointless because she is shooting the place down in 15 min. First, she didn't have to lie to my son, and second maybe if she would have give it to him when he asked the first time maybe he would have had more time. It was 8:22 when he asked her. Seriously! Is just sad! Because the place is amazing and my kids love it but she was just been rude to us. I don't like doing reviews like this, I love saying nice things about places and having a good time. Hey!! But the Dark haired young lady in the pizzeria, very sweet...

Bowling Alley, Fun Center, Library, and Restaurant; what else do you need? The Alley is nice, works well, and has more than enough space for parties to include some game rooms with consoles and TV's (ask the front desk about those). The Fun Center a large indoor playground with equipment appropriate for ages... 2-10 or 12 on the high side. It can get pretty noisy over here. The Library is glass enclosed behind the front desk area and is full of books for children id all ages that you can check out from the front desk. There are also commuters available. Keglers is the restaurant and has a decent menu but pretty closely mirrors fast food/ bar fare. (Which is good because there is a bar attached off to the side but I haven't been over there yet) One more thing, Outdoor Rec is also available to rent out... well almost everything you can think of outdoor related!...

This place DOES NOT accept cash. Tonight the service was a bad as it could get. The person doing the cooking just looked at me and another guy waiting for service. Finally to ask if anyone taking orders. She got the cashier, finally ordered. I received my buzzer. Watched order go on top of counter. Cook disappeared. Waited 5 min before some one came to give my order to me. They have a sign up on the wall that tells employees if they need a break to take one and that customer can wait. And I think they really go with that. Place had PISS POOR customer service. But...
