I saw the world and this base was my doorway. 10 years later, I married my Washington born wife on Roserio Head, with NAS Whidbey Island as the background. Not only that, but the civilian employees were extremely rude. The military folks at the gate were helpful. They gave me a phone number to their staff desk SGT so I could file a complaint.
