I can’t tell you how great it is to work with Randy at Dr. Trailers. I initially I bought a gooseneck for our company to haul excavators and track machines, we had to return it because others at my company didn’t have a cdl and weren’t comfortable pulling it. They were gracious enough to let me return it and I decided to go with a deck over instead, once I used the deck over, I realized it could handle the weight or our machines, but the fixed coupler was too high combined with not enough bed room to which put too much weight on the tounge/hitch of the truck. Yet again they were gracious and let me return the deck over, and now we know the deck over was so close to working for us that we are ordering a custom one direct from the manufacturer with a couple custom options that will suite us perfectly. They are truly a great dealership to work with and they carry the best quality brands. I understand they have a larger location with even more trailers in stock, but either location, the company and staff are awesome to work with. I’m sure they were annoyed that I returned two trailer within a couple weeks, but they never gave me attitude at all, they were only concerned about getting me the right trailer. They didn’t have to accept my 2 returns but they did. As I am an equipment dealer that hauls excavators and track machines, we will be needing more trailers in the near future and they have my business for good! Pretty disappointed drove 1.5 hours to look at trailers with cash in hand. No one came outside to ask if we needed help. Went inside 6 employees sitting there talking. I told them I was here to look at the enclosed car haulers. They all sat there looking at me at told me they are all in the back. No one came to assist us or answer questions and show us the trailers. They didn’t have the trailer I needed in stock so I told them I wanted to have a dark horse trailer made. Had to constantly call over and over for a week to get prices on things to have my trailer ordered because Eric wasn’t calling me back. I finally got on the phone with the owner lance and asked if they wanted to sell me a trailer or not since I had to keep calling them to get answers . He didn’t like my question and got all nasty on the phone with me so I took my business elsewhere. I had to make multiple calls to the dealership in order to get an order placed. Phone calls were rarely returned. It took months to get them to get an order for a trailer. I had to practically beg to purchase a trailer from them. Then when I went to pick it up we were left outside to do the paperwork. I realize there are COVID restrictions, but this was overkill. When I was ready to pick it up they just said "There is your trailer, hook it up and you are set to go." There was no help in hooking it up, no demonstration of how it worked.
