I have always liked shopping in this store and vowed that I would buy a complete livingroom grouping from Old Allegheny one day. Susan was so very helpful in assisting me with selecting the right color combinations. She spent over two hours explaining what pieces I would need, always getting my input on what I wanted. I took two sets of color combinations in upholstery home with me to see which one I liked best. After I selected fabrics for the couch and chairs, Susan showed me the table selections that would complement my furnishings. In addition, I purchased lamps and decorative accents from them. We walked in on a Saturday. Not too busy. We were asked by a nicely-dressed woman if we needed help. My husband started by saying, "you had a store at Century 3" and before he could finish his question she interrupted and said "we've never been at Century 3." Just shut him down. He started again to ask about wanting to buy something and she again interrupted him and said again that it wasn't their store he was thinking of. That is why he stopped in, to ask about buying something they used to carry and get some info. She interrupted and didn't ask what we were looking for. She was rude, dismissive, and judgmental. I can’t recommend this shop enough! My parents went in looking for furniture after having been to all of the chain stores. Susan took so much time educating them all of the options, showing us a huge variety of customizations and helping us to decide on each individual piece. We were there for over 2 hours working with her for both our living room and kitchen. Susan ensured all of the pieces were cohesive and fit with the aesthetic of our home.
