It was amazing for a 13 year birthday! I was skeptical going into it. The website is terrible. Some reviews are mixed about how old the building is. But it’s perfect for what it is. The party time is 2 hours. $300 for up to 14 players. When booking the schedule is rigid. Eat in party room first( no hanging or wall decorations) then they give every guest coins for the arcade. You get 14 cups of coins. Less kids bday child gets more coins. Then the Lazer tag. But when you get there it was more relaxed. Matt was our Game Marshall- he’s awesome with teenage boys. Firm, clear and cool. Great energy. As the kids enter, they choose their Lazer tag screenname for the screen ( pick something cool sounding) are given their cup of tokens and start playing. It’s a great arcade! Lots of oldies but goodies, air hockey etc. And all the games actually work! Then the kids bring their tickets up to be counted to trade for candy or toys. Next they go in the party room. We picked up a case of water bottles, pizzas, pretzels, watermelon slices and cupcakes. Eat, sing happy birthday and head in for Lazer tag! An hour and 20 minutes was perfect. First they’re briefed on how things work, game rules- no running but fast walking is fine, no swearing etc. If they don’t follow the rules their vests and gun get turned off. Matt shows them how the gun works and wear to aim on the vests ( front and back targets and shoulders) and they start playing! The room is amazing. It’s an old concrete plant. Huge with all kinds of neat obstacles to hide in and around. Matt is very attentive but remains in the background. A few kids ran short stretches to hide behind obstacles and there was no issue. Each game is 5-10 min and so much fun! I’d never played and had a blast! There are no spectators in the Lazer tag area, only players. If you’re in the room you have to wear a vest and your team’s points would be lower bc you’re not playing. We played 4 games, between games everyone goes in the briefing room to learn the rules of the new game. The last game the bday child gets to choose. We did 4 different games and still had a few minutes left but not enough for another game so when the kids exited laser tag they went straight for pizza and water in the party room. . It wasn’t an issue, they scarfed down their second round of food and everyone was filing out at 2pm. We booked 12-2 so I felt obligated to feed lunch. If you booked a time you can skip food it might be better. 40-45 min in arcade and not so rushed to get into Lazer tag. I’d have preferred to have food at the end. The kids were focused on the arcade and lazer tag and weren’t hungry til the end. Big trash cans to throw everything away. Lots of 12’ tables in the party room. Matt kept everything moving and answered any questions For preteen and teenage boys you can’t beat this party. Everyone loved it. Great parking, easy to find, well run tight ship in time. I felt everything was plenty clean and appreciated how tired the boys were after. We may be back again next year!

We just had my son’s 19th birthday party here last night. My Son said that this was his favorite birthday party. We opted to do the two hour package. We spent the first hour in the arcade and the second hour plain laser tag. Difficulty settings can be set by the owner based on the age and skill level. The manager runs a tight ship. You want to be on time. We decided to skip the food portion so that we can utilize the two hours for the arcade and the laser tag. Afterwards we did an after party at White Castle and the kids had a blast! Everyone had a great time. No injuries just pure action and fun. The only thing I was nervous about before we got here were the reviews here stating that the place was run down. It is an old warehouse building That’s what makes it so amazing. The laser tag section of the building is absolutely HUGE — It blows away the local resort versions of laser tag. The arcade games are quite old, but that was OK. Older members enjoyed the games. I would recommend 30 minutes in the arcade and an hour to an hour and a half of laser tag. If you know your party would enjoy the arcade then do an hour of Arcade and an hour of laser tag. The fact that these machines are so old, just gave a place an amazing vibe. So our event was five out of five stars without a doubt. Everybody left pumped up the entire place is gold. No place like this in Pennsylvania. 33 years of playing laser tag —- this place knows exactly what it’s doing. It’s old. It’s a warehouse. It’s an amazing freaking game of laser tag by people who know how to run a laser tag venue!!!

After a day skiing we googled activities in the area and Planet Trog came up. We arrived and it was a little unassuming. We joked about the entrance but went thru the iron gate and followed the sidewalk to door number one ;) It had a warehouse feel when we went in. Those that were working that evening were really friendly. My family that participated in laser tag said that it was a low-medium difficulty but the weapons seemed too complex for someone who doesn't play often. The VR room was pretty cool but only 2 people every 1/2 hour could participate. The guy who worked the VR room was uber friendly and even let us do more than one game in our 20 minute session. There are arcade games (about 20) that dispense tickets for the kids to exchange for toys. I think you should give it a try for a little hometown arcade! 🙂 I enjoyed just playing the arcade games!!

I had my daughter’s birthday party here with her classmates, friends and family, although the outside of the place needs some updating the inside arcade was better. The kids did enjoyed the arcade and the laser tag activity. It is the only reason I’m giving you here 2 stars. My problem was the temperature in the building, it was cold inside the arcade area and the party room. It is January you expect heat if you are indoors. When I approached the gentleman running the place, he was not flexible and said the temperature was set and could not change it. I had several of my guest’s also complained but nothing was done to help not even to offer to bring a space heater for the party room. It was embarrassing. We kept our coats on, if you run a business you accommodate your clients. A golden rule !! Another issue was they were extremely rude when my guests entered the building they told them the party ends at 2:00 pm everyone has to be out at that time “How welcoming “ this was not a charitable event We booked the place 12:00pm-2:00 pm ( party) and paid in advance. The whole experience felt rushed and I was frustrated instead of being a happy memory. When my husband tried to see if we could stay a half hour extra to clean up, and we would of course pay extra, the same gentleman told him (No) but instead reminded him that everyone has to be out of the building at 2:00pm. I had to clean up the refreshments early and when my guests came back from playing laser tag which was 10 mins to 2:00 pm. I could not offer refreshments due to having to clean up so early. It seems the people running the Laser tag did not want to be there today, they need a lesson in customer service and being willing to be flexible with customers.I’ve had parties in places where it is timed bu never felt rushed and if you run a few minutes late with out any problem. This is part of the party business. I will not be returning here nor recommend this business for their stiffness...
