Brookshire Brothers — Local services in Whitesboro

Our family has been shopping at Brookshire Brothers, Whitesboro since it opened, back when it was David's. This store serves a small town of about 4,100 people so it's not as large as its sister stores elsewhere. Parking lot is easily accessible with two entrances and a cart rack conveniently located in parking lot in front of store. For its size, there is a good selection of produce, meats, and other food items popular for this area. I tend to eat a lot of Asian and Middle Eastern foods that are not found here but they have ordered items for me in the past. The store is clean and well maintained. I get help when needed and it does get busy at times. They post specials online and in their circular. Yesterday, the clerk put one in my bag and reminded me of a great sale coming up. 'Don't you miss it!' The clerks are always helpful and friendly. They also have a loyalty program. The smaller grocers are often a few dollars more in cost than the larger stores. But if you use the loyalty program at Brookshire Brothers and buy the store brands, you should be able to stretch...

Cannot believe the experience I had this morning at the Brookshire Brothers store in Whitesboro,Tx. From the time I Grabbed a shopping cart to the time I checked out was such a relief. First of all, I have to brag on those employees! Workers were sanitizing carts and wiping shelves throughout the whole store. I really liked seeing all employees wearing gloves and even being offered a pair for myself! Can’t be too careful. Every employee I passed was so willing to help me find what I needed and friendly. 2 employees even insisted to double check the back and make sure there wasn’t a spare pinto bean back there. I’m not sure how this store is staying so stocked so well during this time but what a comforting feeling knowing I can count on them. Brookshires a good store for the small town a lot of times that with the fruit and the pico to Gallo that they make up is not in good the stuffed peppers that they make up last few times Have been full of seeds! The employees the young kids on the Night Shift don’t want to hardly bag your groceries & and when they do they bag them so heavy like they’re low on bags or I have to double bag them myself & I’ve dropped them before with cokes and other things They didn’t want to help me pick them up and wouldn’t help me pick them up and would not replace the items!! They don’t ever want to take your groceries out They don’t even offer you have to ask them so I don’t even bother because that’s their job and they’re locking the door 15 to 20 minutes before closing at 9 PM!
