Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Whitesboro

I live 2 miles south of this location. They will not deliver here because "the computer" says we are outside of their area. The manager was incapable of looking at our location on a Google map, realizing how close we are (I could literally WALK there from here) and overriding "the computer's" decision in order to service a local customer. Dominoes which is further away will service our location. I'm done with this Pizza Hut!

Thank you for contacting us regarding our inability to deliver pizza to you from the Pizza Hut location in your area.

Please allow us to take this opportunity to explain that the way our trade area works is that each of our units is given a specific delivery area, which is based primarily on the amount of drive time required to reach the furthest points of the trade area during rush hour traffic. We place this drive time limitation to assure that our delivery customers receive the hottest, freshest pizzas we can provide. Making trips beyond these specific trade areas compromises our ability to do so. Rest assured, we are dedicated to serving as many customers as we possibly can. We would like to remind you that we also offer dine-in and carryout services at various units in your area.

HERE IS MY RESPONSE:

Sounds to me like a canned answer that provides no help and required no thought whatsoever.  Did you miss the part of my email where I specified that our location is 2 miles from this pizza hut.  Exactly how long do you suppose it takes to travel two miles straight down 377 to my house.  And have you ever even HEARD of rush hour traffic in Whitesboro, TX a bustling metropolis containing all of 4000 people!!??.  Give me a break!! They deliver to areas which take much longer to reach!!  THIS is exactly my problem.  Noone has the ability to actually consider that perhaps there was a mistake made in determining the delivery area and FIXING it!  If providing a canned answer email is the best Pizza Hut is capable of then you can consider me a person who will NEVER give Pizza Hut another dime...

I placed an order at 7:30pm on February 26th. We called back at 7:55pm to check on our order due to the worker stating it would take 20 -25 minutes. As soon as they answered they stated they would no longer be taking orders due to them having a 3 hour wait. They didn’t even ask how we could help before they said that. We then stated we wanted to check on an order and they stated it would be another hour before our pizza was ready. Colton told us no one took our order at the store and he couldn’t confirm our order. Colton then stated he could refund our money or we could wait for the pizza. We were still trying to get an answer on when our pizza would be ready. We finally asked for a refund and Colton then stated he could not do it. We then asked for the manager and he stated multiple times they were both busy and could not speak to us. He then put us on hold to get his manager and hung up. We called back and he said I’m sorry the call got disconnected and put us back on hold for 20 minutes until we hung up to try and get in touch with someone. We then called back, they put us directly on hold and hung up. Our order was number 125 and they are now refusing to...

I placed my order for wings all drum and no flats. Plus 2 salads. I waited 20 minutes. The the cook came out and asked me if I would take the order all garlic parmesan. I asked if they were all drums. He no ours aren't portioned that way. I asked then why did you even make it. That's not what I asked for and you didn't let me know before you cooked them. He displayed some aggravated body lamguage so I asked for a refund on everything but salads. I still waited another 10 minutes and asked for my salad and the refund. I love Pizza hut. It's my go-to but I won't spend that much money on wings if I can't say which ones or even how they're cooked. Very disappointing for sure. And 5 or 6 more people came in and that's when I could see they were helping the and putting me off and I demanded my food and my food and money. Now they just wanted me out of there.
