Bostonian Barber Shop — Local services in Whitman

To say I'm disappointed is an understatement; I had an appointment the other day with Evan, I went in confident in this shop and the abilities of those they hire, but I left disappointed and upset. I brought in example photos of the look I wanted, which, in all honesty, consisted of nothing more than layering and side bands. My hair was down to my shoulders (unstraightened) and is now at my ears, I never asked for Evan to cut my hair so short. On top of that, the bangs I asked for are so extremely short that they don't even qualify as bangs. There was absolutely no layering done and I am now forced to shave parts of my head because this is un-fixable. I do admit that I am partly to blame for not asking to be faced towards the mirror, however I've been to this shop many times before and have put my complete faith in these barbers, and I know that I probably would have been better off going to a hair stylist, however I had been to one before for this same style and they were also disappointing. My advice for new clients is to be extremely specific with what you want; whether is be a beard trim or styling, a lineup or a haircut, it's best to be clear. I don't think I'll stop going to this barbershop, however I do know that I won't be making an appointment for...

My boys went (1adult and 1 kid) and absolutely loved their haircuts and experience. We have had so many compliments on the haircuts within a week. The women who cut the kids cut did a fantastic job connecting with a fidgety 7 year old and engaged him in talks about his favorite superheros. Both cuts were a high and tight and my husband is very picky about how and where the hair fades from, they surpassed the expectation and did a great job with their wishes.

The haircuts did not take to long and we were in and out with our scheduled appointments. My husband also loved that we got a reminder text day of appointment.

COVID: the shop did a great job with Covid safety and had them wait in the car until the barbers were ready. They were both asked to wear masks inside the building. The shop was very clean and appear very safe.

We will be going to the consistently from here on out as they have us hooked on...

This is the best barber shop around. I had always driven past this place and decided to give it a try one day. The atmosphere is really cool. It is combination of traditional barbershop with a ton of modern amenities. One thing that I really enjoy is that they have big tv's on either side of the shop that play movies and television for you to watch while you're getting your cut. If you are into golf they even have an indoor golf driving simulator.

All the staff are always incredible. I always get my haircut by John. He is always very friendly and welcoming. The first time he cut my hair I was very impressed. His skill as a barber and professionalism has kept me coming back to him for awesome haircuts!
