Levitow Fitness Center — Local services in Wichita Falls

Levitow fitness center on base.. this place looked like it had not been cleaned in a min so I took 40 min of my own time to wipe Down the whole matted area that my child plays in.. Needless to say the least it’s disgusting.

I also found gum on a treadmill.. I asked when does this place get cleaned the lady told me “everyday” and when I said l”that’s interesting cause I found gum on the equipment and the wipes I used are brown” she proceeded to tell me “well the person that cleans is out today.” So okay I’ll choose to believe that but then she brought me a clip board that was “proof” someone comes in everyday and cleans. I’m sorry but a clip board doesn’t prove anything when I had sanitary wipes coming out brown and black. So either it’s not getting cleaned once a day like they say or once a day is not enough. It’s flu season so I feel this needs to be take more seriously when it comes to not only a gym environment but a child...

The only reason I took off a star is it is just too small for the volume of people who use this gym during business hours. Everything else is fantastic. TDY customers can get after hours access, which I highly recommend as it gives you lighter traffic options (like on the weekends when it closes early). The staff is fantastic. All the machines and equipment are clean and functional. There's a small CrossFit room (box) that has some extra stuff like assault bikes and heavy kettle bells. Racketball courts, basketball court, outdoor workout area with tons of equipment, and a separate spin/aerobics room with a variety of equipment. Two thumbs up! Need several more on base like this to...

I love military gyms! The people complaining in the review column need to visit an Army gym. This is a typical Air Force gym. They make use of the space they have. Lots of good quality equipment packed into every space they can. Big gym, big locker rooms, sauna, racket ball courts. I also noticed they host loads of fun programs. The people on this base are lucky to have a gym like this. Plus 24 hour access...
