I do most of my grocery shopping here. The prices are great and the quality is very good. They have parmigiano reggiano wedges sometimes, those are imported from Italy and only 5-6 dollars per wedge. I absolutely love that cheese.
I frequently buy their salads, asparagus, brussel sprouts, carrots, celery, cilantro, parsley, potatoes, red/yellow/sweet yellow/white onions. Their bell peppers are good, but it is good to take a look at them before you buy it, I have seen small amounts of mold near the stems.
I am in love with their new organic chicken chicken breast, it comes in a vacuum sealed clear plactic tray. I usually trim it by hand before I cook it to remove the bigger chucks of fat. I also love their organic ground beef. This one comes in a clear square wrap with a green foil bottom. Sometimes they have a 3 pound pack. These are some of the more expensive meats and their quality is stellar.
Chocolate from Germany. Utz certified! Seriously good chocolate. Chocolate bars, wafers, truffles, biscotti, biscuit cookies. Very delicious. They also carry stroopwaffles (if you are into that).
Their limited edition buys are awesome. We paid 18 dollars for a 4 quart porcelain-enameled two peice dutch oven/stock pot. I've been using this to make sourdough bread. The lid doubles as a cast iron pan. I've also found first harvest olive oil there. It was 10 dollars, we haven't opened that though.
I also buy their fish/shellfish from the frozen section. Salmon, tuna, and tail-off deveined shrimp. They carry more types of fish too, and it is rated to be sustainable for the environment.
The ethics of this place, the cleanliness, the speed of the checkout lanes. Top notch! They also pay their employees pretty well too. Reccomend, reccomend, recommend!
There's so much more at this place that I just...
Read moreI am a personal shopper for a lot of people here in wichita. It can be a little stressful at times so its nice to have the employees there for help or advice on how to have a smooth transaction(s). Especially when shopping for 3 or 4 different homes and you only have one cart.
I went in 2 days in a row & I hate to say it but I was not very impressed with the employees. They weren't super rude or anything but it didn't make me feel good at all, I do know that. It was like they didn't care what I was doing or the fact that I was working. I think super snobby would be a good word. I took a lot of time separating my orders. I mean a LOT. To the point it made my ratings go down lol and then the cashier just dumps everything together. After I explain they are supposed to be separated and why. They completely ignored me both times basically after I specifically informed them before they started checking me out. Yesterday the girl scanned almost the entire order as one and when I tell her she will have to void the whole thing and re-ring it, causing a line hold up..somehow im the pain and get dirty looks etc. Also makes me even more late and I end up loosing money bc of it which sucks. Just very "I have better things I could be doing" additudes, which im not a fan of🤷
The food though...im so impressed with Aldis. The food selection along with the prices. Wow🙌👌if employees didn't matter....5+ stars from this girl. Way to go Aldi's!! So much better than...
Read moreAldi's is a different experience if you've never been. I love it. They are not known for their customer service. You'll see that for yourself when you can't seen to find an associate and at the register. It's get what you need (the food selection is great most organic) it's decently priced. The produce is hit or miss so be careful and eat what you buy fairly quickly. Take a quarter for the cart deposit (you'll get back). Take your bags or grab some of the boxes they have around the store and shop your heart out. Every week they offer new items (clothing, shoes, kitchen, pet, kids garden supply, office supplies, furniture, etc... ) but if you want it buy it cause once it's gone, it's not coming back. Then make your way to the register where it's a mad dash to put everything on the conveyor belt. The associate won't give you much conversation and will simply toss your groceries into a cart for you to bag yourself after you pay and leave the line. Return your cart and get your quarter back. Genius way to keep grocery prices down. I've made Aldis my number 1 store for most of my bulk shopping, then Dillions for my must haves that Aldi doesn't carry. This location is clean and I...
