My niece has a booth there. She was robbed over $80,000.00 in gold and silver. Here are pure facts indisputable: 1: Robbery took place through night July 03 2018. 2: No notification of incident went out to mall dealers at any point to date, now in Sept. Continually meet dealers from mall that still today have not heard of this travesty. 3: Police officer said police report indicated intruder entered through unsecured back entry, contrary to Manager statement, Madison denied this. 4: Police report was listed as break and entry, not a robbery. 5: Victim/s of robbery were NOT notified by Staff, Management or Owners of incident or warned, still are not. 6: Niece popped into mall to clean up booth on July 04, preparing for holiday sales. Noticed half way down aisle mdse not on shelves in case, yet lights were turned on booth by staff upon opening store that morning. 7: Staff member Rosemary literally told niece they were told to not speak of the incident and to keep it quiet. 8: Detective in case requested video from mall for over three weeks and Manager would not return calls nor submit requested video. This is straight from detective on case. 9: Manager Madison of mall changed story twice of where and how perpetrator entered into building. 10: Although supposedly a robbery from an outside source, no smash and grab was experienced, no broken glass. A very large and cumbersome mirror was moved from behind case to remove multiple hands full of goods, then relocked the case, replaced the mirror standing against backside. Hmmmm???? 11: Camera shows a supposed person of interest in building and have been told this same person stayed in store that evening under table. 12: Cameras at doors show person leaving but infrared due to dark store. Question, if store dark, how was he identified as being under a table through the night? 13: Perpetrator seen leaving building with hands empty supposedly. Inventory robbed from niece was hands filled, multiple. Too much for pants pockets. Not seen carrying anything. No coat or jacket, this is July 03. $80k in inventory people. 14: At time of contract, the Manager Madison was asked of inventory control and equipment. She stood up from desk walked to metal rack and showed niece inventory equipment to be placed on cases. This contraption was installed post robbery July, moved into booth late April. Questions? What smash and grab bothers to unlock and lock cases to thieve in middle of night? Moves merchandise and replaces. Why keep this quiet and push under carpet? Why wasn’t the victims of the robbery notified immediately? Why was the robbery reported as a break and entry? Why would the Manager not return phone calls to Detective on case or submit requested video of crime? Why not be as helpful and cooperative as needed??? Why has there been such irresponsible negligence on the part of the mall and it’s Manager and Owners??????
My opinion? Be careful, who can afford losses of this magnitude? Why was there such a lack of cooperation with law enforcement by the Madison and the mall, according to the Detective? Why was there a lack of due diligence to the booth vendors of the mall by Madison and...
Read moreI went to this location yesterday and had a good time browsing. I even found two iron crosses that were perfect for my home. There was an elderly woman working that seemed to have a sour attitude. She initially came up and asked if we would like our items held at the front. I thought hey this is nice, but she just simply rudely asked my name and kept a sour look on her face the entire time. I brushed it off and ended up sitting in their guest area while waiting on my husband to finish his browsing bc my ankle was hurting. After he was done browsing, we were walking down an aisle near the right wall, when we heard a crash, a young man had knocked something over and it broke in a booth opposite where we were walking. Here comes sour face attendant and she asks me ab the crash. I was so shocked at the accusation that I fumbled and just said it was a young man and pointed. I was flustered when I got to the front and let the younger woman know who was checking us out that happened. She immediately started covering for the other attendant and didn’t apologize at all.
We always love the west location and will consider going back there, but we will never go to the east location again.
Training needs to be done here on how you treat paying customers. Assumptions should never be tolerated. I know accidents happen and theft happens, but immediately assuming someone is stealing or knocking stuff over is...
Read moreGiving 3 stars one for Olivia one for kiri(I think that's her name) and one for the men employees! Won't shop here anymore, I bought a very expensive item and negotiated a price. The blonde tall lady I didn't get her name was a little snooty. I swear she rolled her eyes at me. I was so glad Olivia took over she was very nice, professional, and friendly. All the male employees walking around, I'm assuming they are just trying to make sure nobody steals. I thought we would get help from them(dnt get me wrong the male employees were professional and nice as well)we were helped by an older employee female that could have been my grandma ,I didn't think that was right, all the men that work there and they have a 60 plus yr old woman help us with the heavy item. It was my daughter and I. I'm so disappointed in how they run things over there. The woman who helped us with our heavy items was extremely nice and friendly and made a great conversation with us. I hope she gets taken care of over there. Kiri, I think that's what her name tag said. Thank you for your help. I appreciate all that you did. Olivia, you rock! Tall blonde lady get a better personality you work at an Antique store you are not any better than...
