It saddens me to write this about an old favorite theater that I once enjoyed. The movie theater’s restrooms require significant attention and maintenance. The bathrooms emit a very unpleasant odor, and the floors are frequently visible with urine. Additionally, the toilets are also visibly soiled. Furthermore, the stalls lack doors, allowing patrons to observe individuals using the restroom. Who wants to take a crap in front of others? Many patrons have expressed dissatisfaction with the presence of insects, leading to their departure. It is unclear whether the employees are neglecting their duties or if additional staffing is necessary. The theater’s once-enjoyable outdoor atmosphere has been compromised by an infestation of insects. During my last visit, the insects were particularly prevalent. As far as the food is concerned, I attempted to request assistance with snacks, but my request was disregarded by both the staff and my companions. Until these issues are addressed, we will refrain from returning to the drive-in theater. We would prefer to use the Warren Theater, which offers a more pleasant and comfortable environment. While the theater may be more expensive, it demonstrates a commitment to providing a high standard of service. Or we will just wait until the “actual movie” comes out and enjoy it at home. Sorry Starlight! ☹️ I hope this helps someone make a...

In my honest opinion this is one of the best places to enjoy with the family, friends and significant other. It can be any kind of night you choose it to be at Starlite! Whether that's having a chill night with the family, stress free relief for a solo relaxation alone time, or a night to snuggle and enjoy with your significant other. Either way I truly believe this place is a gem and truly believe everyone has to give it a try. My family and I love this place, it's one of our favorite things to do in Wichita and enjoy on Sunday evenings. They offer the only place I've ever seen where you push a button for self serve popcorn and of course butter. It's like a cafeteria so you go down a line and choose what you'd like. They serve burgers, soda, fries, icies, candy, pickles and funnel cake! Excuse me if I forgot anything. Oh unfortunately don't forget bug spray, who woulda thought right being outside at night there would be bugs. They do sell bug repellent whipes incase you're human like us and always forget. Those are the items we regularly choose when we go lol. This place is easily top 3 things to do, especially if you're as big of a movie fanatic as my son and I. Really hope this helps with deciding what to do in Wichita and encourages everyone to make memories at Starlite Drive-In for many many...

People their weren't very friendly or helpful. The way to get your own snacks and drinks.... Terrible idea.... I got butter all over my hand.😐....they stood their and chatted amongst themselvs then staired at me and my son the whole time while we trying to figure out how to use self serve. The popcorn wasn't hot or fresh by any means and the chips were stale. The cheese despenser was out of cheese and the lady that checked us out at the end gave us a bag to put over our snacks because it was raining but then got upset when I asked her if we could use the restroom after we got our snacks. I guess she was in a hurry to leave. Who wants to bring snacks into the restroom? Not me. We got into the restroom and of course wet floors. Only 1 wet floor sign way by the front door. 😐 we get closer to the restroom and my son falls. Anyway needless to say we may not return. Sad to say this place use to be a staple. The old way of doing things. Customer service and being kind.gone... This world really is changing. 🙁 It's to bad we have to eliminate customer service and make things self serve when the experience will never be the...

I love being able to watch a big screen movie in the comfort of the back of the truck, inside your vehicle, or on some rocks with your family. I feel like going to the movie theater is a waste of money sometimes when you can wait until they come out (it's too expensive), but at this place I never felt like it was a waste of money. I can't think of a bad experience. If you feel like staying up late watching all 3 movies with your kids, it's ok because if they dont make it, they can pass out in your car. My kids never pass out which is why I'm glad the snacks and restrooms are within a short distance. Blake, Braxtyn & Leightyn are listening to the big radio that thankfully Blake brought. The Drive-in is cool with you bringing in your own radio which was actually a really good idea that I didn't think of :) BFG was the last movie we saw at Starlight & I can't wait to go back!

I love Starlite. It truly gives the vintage vibes that a drive-in should give. I also love how they have managed to keep the vintage feel of the concession stand, stalls and entrance too. I have elderly residents who reminisce about their Starlite days and their memories are still kept alive every time I visit. 10/10! One thing out of Starlite staff’s control is the people who don’t have any sort of decency (or home training) who like to use lasers on the movie screen to distract patrons from the movie. Other than knuckleheads like this that attempt to ruin the movie, I love Starlite and say enjoy it while you can in this ever changing digitally advanced world!
