The Popcorner — Local services in Wichita

My husband and I stopped in the east side store 8-31-19 to refill a tin bought at Christmas. We fold clerk what flavors we wanted and paid. Noticed another couple browsing and they came up to counter and the clerk put aside our tin and proceeded to help them place a pick up later order, then checked them out on what they were buying to take with them. This took several minutes, and clerk didn't even acknowledge that we were waiting. I guess she decided it was okay for us to wait, so they didn't have to wait. I feel this was very wrong and rude, and I told her so. She mumbled something, and asked us again for what flavors we wanted, she didn't remember! This other couple looked wealthy and we certainly were not the wealthy type. It was discrimination in our eyes. We won't be back!. No...

First time trying and very disappointed. The "Savory Cheddar" barely qualified as cheesy styrofoam. Our "movie night" was burnt and even if it wasn't it would still be simply crappy popcorn. The Peanut Butter Crisp was the greatest disappointment. You would figure that something covered in peanut butter, chocolate, and powdered sugar would be delectable but some how they combined the concept of puppy chow and popcorn but still did a bad job. I can understand one stale bag of popcorn but I got 3 bags for my friends and I to share and none of us even wanted to eat more than a few bites. Not to mention the price being insane for something so underwhelming. Save yourself the trouble and money by not bothering.

This is such a neat little store. The employees are always so friendly and helpful, they greet you as soon as you walk in the door and are always willing to answer any questions or offer up samples of whatever your heart desires. The fudge is ahhhhmazing! I am pretty sure I heard a chorus of angels sing the first time I took a bite. And I am addicted to the cinnamon popcorn. It is just the right combination of buttery, salty-sweet deliciousness. They have great deals on the weekly flavor of popcorn. I am looking forward to trying the loaded baked potato!
