Daves Taxidermy — Local services in Willard

Took my wife's deer hide from her first buck, dropped off back in September 2018,was told that we would not see it tell March or so of 2019, however when June came around and we hadn't heard anything we contacted Dave to find out progress,at that time was told there had been a mistake and he found some hides that weren't sent out,one of which was mine, so he had rushed it to the tannery in California and I should have it within the next month or so, once again September came around still no hide so called again was told this time work was about done and I will have my hide in two weeks, so two weeks goes by and we get the call that our hide had finally came, but when we arrived to pick it up it was a totally different hide not even close to the same size,shape or even close to how I skin my hides,so we new right way it wasn't ours, so at this point I would never recommend Dave's taxidermy to anyone or would never use him again, he can't just admit he messed up my hide, however dave did give a refund on my deposit, but me and all friends and family who have used him several times in the past will never...

I have a 2019 limited entry buck that I took to have done and still haven't gotten it back. I've contacted Dave many times and he always makes excuses to why my deer isn't done. The last thing I heard was that he hadn't started my buck yet that the 2019 hides just got back from the tannery. well its April now and that was February when I contacted him. haven't heard a thing about how I wanted the shoulder mount or anything. I'm very disappointed he is a good taxidermist don't get me wrong but it upsets me that i worked hard for my deer and it hasn't been in my possession since I delivered him after I got home from harvesting...

Dave's was a wonderful business/family to visit. Tons of works in various stages of progress. Dave less a your for is group of veterans and had to leave half was through.
