I was standing looking at their meat and happened to look up into the meat department to see a worker walking in with no beard guard and a soda in his hand. He placed the soda on a shelf and continued walking through. Upon further inspection, there were open vanilla oreo cookies with an open bottle of water beside it on the same table where they cut their meat. Then on a dirty cutting block, stained red there was a pack of chicken, pork, and beef all on the same block, thus creating cross contamination. I dont know about you but this could make a lot of people very sick, very quickly. Would not recommend purchasing meat unless this situation is taken care of immediately. Good customer service and great selection on produce. Place very clean and organized. I love going to the deli and getting myself sandwich pepperoni and cheese which are always priced right. During Thanksgiving time I talked with head butcher about Turdukhen and within a week they came in by surprise. To even better my shopping there the butcher later had one left and he set it aside and I now have it in my freezer. So keep up the great work all your employees do to make my shopping...

We had heard the meat department was very good and we heard right!! Whole pork loin for $1.99/lb. is a great deal! The meat and produce is fresh and well presented. The aisles are a good size, well stocked, and clearly priced. The people were very friendly and helpful. We'll be back! Update: we're regulars at Schumpert's!
