I moved to NC three years ago and was in the search for a new hairstylist after having the same hairstylist for 10 years. It was a scary process trusting a new person and new town with my hair, as I’ve had terrible cuts before. I started my search at another local salon that completely ruined my hair. My friend at work saw my hair after wards and told me I need to go see Aimee at Southern Sass to fix it, and I am SO grateful she did! Aimee not only saved my hair, but gave me one of my favorite styles I’ve ever had. She listened to what I like, took time to look over my Inspo pics, is extremely knowledgeable in her process and will tell you the truth on what youre asking for. She prioritizes high quality hair products for her clients, and has a clean and gorgeous space. Not only is she extremely talented and knowledgeable but she is pure, hilarious and welcoming. I had my first Japanese Head Spa with Aimee - and It was amazing!! Right from the beginning Aimee made me feel comfortable with her expertise with the equipment and the solutions; we looked at my scalp, and hair follicles with a special piece of equipment - before and after! It was relaxing and enlivening at the same time; each solution, (tailored for me specifically) was applied with a full head massage, followed by a relaxing rain shower rinse, a steam session, hand massage, neck and shoulder massage. By then, my whole body was relaxed and regenerated. The session ended with a blow dry of my now completely renewed and clean hair and a re-look at my scalp - which was incredible! Thank you Aimee for bringing this treatment to our area! What a gift!! Actually, it IS a great gift for someone else AND for me again!!...
