Response to the owner: Vicki, I do appreciate you clarifying this matter, and I completely understand the malfunction. As previously mentioned, you and the rest of the staff are superb and so kind. I would appreciate if you can address this issue with the employee mentioned. Even if she wasnāt aware of the malfunction, she has no right to treat any customer the way she treated me. She embarrassed me in front of the employees and customers. Also, knowing that there is a possibility that we have to deal with her when returning items and that she has such an issue with returns ((she has given me attitude both times Iāve returned), already sets an uneasy tone when walking into your store. Review: I am giving a 1 star because of the poor customer service of one particular person, the Asian lady who is either the owner or store manager, everyone else has been very professional and lovely to deal with. I tend to buy both of my teenage boys 2 sizes when it comes to clothing, they try it on at home and I keep the ones that fit and return the ones that donāt. I have only returned twice in the almost 8 months of shopping at this establishment and both times this lady has had an issue, the first time huffing and puffing in annoyance. This morning I hand over both stapled receipts that I must present to exercise my right to return items, and we notice that one states 11/11 and the other 11/12 with the same amount to the cent $90.85, the lady was not taking it. I offered to present proof of my credit card statement to show that I made only 1 purchase last week of $90.85 at The Store, she refused to even look at it. She proceeded to insinuate that I was lying because their machine has never had this issue, and sniffed the clothes to see if I purchased to maybe wear and return. She was speaking in a loud voice, condescending way, and making it seem like I was the problem. My tone was normal of anyone being spoken to/treated the way I was. I have spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars at The Store since moving to the Winder area, to be treated this way for $17.26 on 1 of 2 returns in the last year is beyond unprofessional and poor customer service. Even another employee who heard everything that happened looked at me in a apologetic way to see how this lady was treating me. If I had to lose $17 and change, not a big deal I can afford it, but it turned into the principle of the situation that machines, every-so-often, do have technical issues and not every customer can afford to lose $17 dollars.
