Smash Rage Room — Local services in Windsor Township

I never leave reviews but I had an awful experience here and want to warn others. I went with a group of people and we called as a courtesy to let them know we might possibly be late. (Mind you…and let me EMPHASIZE…we.were.not.late) the woman who answered told us we had until 5:25 (5:25 on the dot if we showed up “6 secs late” she wouldn’t let us in) to get there or she wouldn’t let us in. That’s fine, our time was for 5:15 I totally understand policy. Again, we didn’t even end up being late (not even a minute). She spent the entire time berating us for being late being extremely rude and totally ruined the entire experience. We never tried to fight back or be rude yet she continued on and on. She rushed us through the entire thing saying we had to be on this strict timeline because she had another group coming (again, I totally get this- if we were late I would have accepted that). But when we finished she wouldn’t stop talking to us like she had all the time in the world. I never even saw another group come in after us. So it just felt like she was pushing us and being rude just to be rude. I don’t understand why we “only have 2 minutes to clean now because another group is coming” yet we stood around listening to her talk and no one showed up. This was my first time out in months to have a date night without my kids and I spent $50 I don’t really have to enjoy my night and for the most part it was ruined (I only had fun when she finally shut the door and left us alone-luckily we had great company). My mother and I went for both of our birthdays back in September. Unfortunately a couple weeks before our birthday trip my mother fell and broke her ankle. She had scheduled us prior to her fall to go to here and let our anger out on some stuff. The male owner told my mother it would be fine for her to get a refund on her not being able to join in while the female owner was setting me up in the room. Then after I started to get going the female ownerr told my mom that she could not get a refund because my mother had not called her right after she fell and broke her ankle. Like that was the first thought in my mother's mind after physically hurting herself was to call the rage room we were going to to inform them of her broken ankle. Then my mother was told by the female owner that they have a business to run when the male owner had told my mother everything that got smashed was donated. I'm not looking to get anything from this buisness but it's obvious that the female owner is very rude, and I would not recommend this place of business to anyone based on the behavior I saw, and the mistreatment of my mother. The owners are AMAZING to say the least , I suffer from severe anxiety and they were more then understanding of my issues. They did not make me feel less then or stupid for asking weird questions that help with dealing with my anxiety. Now on to the smash room !! It was sooooo much fun , worth the money and the time , took me and a friend exactly 20 min to smash EVERYTHING in the room. They let you pick your “ weapon “ of choice to smash everything and seriously let the experience be catered to your preferences. We also did the color bomb add on and it was such an awesome photo op and fun to boot .

I went in almost in tears , afraid to express my concerns with my anxiety, and I left feeling amazing , stress free and felt anxiety free for the first time in a long time.
