Iâve been going to Top-Gun for a while now and itâs just a great place to shoot. Everyone is very friendly, the lanes are only $20 for all day shooting but I like to go on Wednesdayâs for only $10, itâs mens day so....đ But yeah, itâs a good place to shoot and for only an extra $10 you can trade off using their guns trying different ones out to see what you really like. This is super good if youâre a new shooter and are unsure what handgun youâd like to buy as a first gun. They have like 50 different handguns to try out. Seriously. Any way 5 stars for me as the only thing Iâd change is that theyâd have hourly lane rental for say $5 per hour. I usually only shoot for an hour so if I go after work during the work week $20 for only 1hr or so is a lot of money. Now having said that, they do have a membership for $200 for one year or $100 for 6 months which that could work out if youâre planing on going twice a week or so as that would pay for itself in one month. Personally I havenât found any ranges, other than TopGun, that offer a 6 month membership, let alone having one for as low as $100. Thatâs very cost effective for a weakly shooter. But if you donât want the membership then remember, $10 Wednesdayâs, rental guns free. If your a guy that is, but I think womenâs night is on Tuesdayâs so they do appreciate woman too.
I definitely recommend...
Read moreMoved to Missouir recently and got my CCP here. The instructor was great but I cannot recall his name. Not a huge selection of weapons but what hey have is nice and I'm sure they could get what you requested of them. Decent range and the sportsman club in Lonedale is very nice. I do wish they had a 100-500 and 500-1000 yard range.
The cons....they never answer any of my emails from their "contact us" page. I had a question regarding suppressors but they failed to respond, so I purchased 4 new suppressors at another shop. I also had a question about the membership in Arnold and at the sportsman club in Lonedale...I was going to purchase the platinum membership but again, no response. I guess they are not interested in my business unfortunately.
My wife did join the local membership and appears to enjoy it although there are a few ladies who think they know it all and tend to correct everyone instead of enjoying the shooting range. My wife and I are both 20+ year of military service and now retired, we have plenty of experience but find it funny when someone who has little experience seems to know it all. You never know that company you are in when in these places, so sometimes...
