I had bought a t-shirt and sweater for my son for his school so he could be proud of his school and have school spirit especially during Covid. He hasn't even attended his school yet but I felt it was important to implement the importance of school, especially currently. My son was excited as was I when we placed the order. We ordered both Large sizes for the shirt and sweater. Even though he is 12 and small for his age, I figured he could grow into it. Upon picking up the sweatshirt I could tell immediately the sweater was smaller than the shirt. Even though they were the same size. Usually it would maybe be the other way around, sweatshirt a little bigger than the shirt, even though both larges. Either way the very polite receptionist agreed and said "Wow that's weird, just call Nick or email, I'm sure he can help". I called and left a voicemail from the parking lot and he responded quickly the next morning via email. I called and spoke with him the next day, he explained that on the sizing chart it showed that shirts are indeed larger than sweatshirts. Which doesn't make sense. I said I'm sorry I did not notice and it is brand new he didn't even try it on, my son is just excited to wear and display his school spirit. He cut me off in the middle of my sentence rudely and said there's nothing he could do. I asked if I could exchange it or have credit, he said there's nothing he could do. I will donate this sweater to a child in need at my son's school. I won't support this business anymore. The customer service was rude and unremorseful. Phenomenal service. We bought a Varsity Jacket for our daughter. Being a wrestler, it was challenging to find her the correct fit. Emily personally ordered 2 different women sized jackets (M & L) so that my daughter could find the correct size. Sonoma Outfitters now has an excellent selection of sizes to try on.
