Food Farm Market — Local services in Winter Gardens

I have been trying to narrow down San Diegos' best Carne Asada for quite some time. Being an ex-chef, I am pretty fussy. Quality and flavor is definitely a MUST for me. Somehow (a buddy) I got shown this small, unknown little market, and discovered the best carne asada I've ever had! I can eat it just by itself, it's so good. Really....5 stars is not enough!

UPDATE: The food farm market has undergone an ownership change, and the taste and quality of the Carne Asada has taken a hit. I'm hoping that they will eventually get the Original Recipe under control.

I come here normally on a bi-weekly basis to get carne asada because it is really good. I didnt think to look at the price because it has not changed in the past few months.

I get home and look at my receipt to see that they raised the price of the meat all of a sudden to almost $10/lb. Never did I think they would be ones to be Price gouging. They seem to be taking advantage of the situation our country is in right now.

I'm so happy I discovered this little store. It may not be super big, but they do have a very large selection of products, including some fruits, vegetables, and meats. They also have a wonderful staff working there. Always friendly, always helpful. I use a walker, and they always ask me if i need help. ...
