Sizzle Shack Burger — Restaurant in Winter Gardens

This place recently opened up and I had to check it out. Went with the Sizzle Burger (Angus patty, grilled onions, pickles, American cheese and Sizzle Sauce), and a side of tots. The burger was freaking fantastic. Bun to meat to onion, pickle and sauce ratio was on point. The burger wasn't over cooked which I often find with smashed burgers. The tots were awesome as well. Crispy outside and soft inside and hot. The service was also excellent and friendly. The burgers were cooked when the order was placed. The wait wasn't too long and worth it for a fresh meal.

Not five stars because there is no AC in the place and it needs it. Even just ordering and waiting for your food. There is a fan in there but it did nothing. Wait till summer really hits and it will be brutal in there. They also need a soda fountain. All they have is a drink cooler with sodas, teas, juices and waters. The sodas are overpriced. I can walk to the mini Mart and get a bigger bottle of coke for less. Also, no soda fountain equals no ice for your drink. Other than that, this place is great.

Go for the amazing burgers and tots. Take them home to enjoy and get your soda elsewhere until they get a fountain and AC. ...

First I want to say that the owner/employees are kind and genuine! I was so excited that a burger joint was opening up on my side of town and I KNEW I had to give it a try! All I can say is WOW you guys nailed it! It’s been so long since I have been able to actually enjoy a burger made by a restaurant. I find many places to lack that good authentic American cheese burger taste! Most places use frozen patties to cut corner and still up charge customers. Not sizzle shack! Real fresh ground beef they actually hand pick the meat and grind! Nothing is better than home cooked but this one hits the spot by far if you’re feeling lazy and don’t want to cook in the heat. I just recently brought my husband down to try recently and he is hooked! He said it was one of the best burgers he has paid for in a long time! We love this place and hope you guys thrive with local support. We needed this little burger place!

If you’re a smash burger fan, This place nails it — crispy, juicy patties, melty cheese, and bold flavors that seriously hit the spot.

I had the Sizzle Burger, and it was absolutely unreal. The edges of the patty were perfectly crispy, the bun was soft but held up beautifully, and every bite had that crave-worthy, griddled flavor. The fries were golden and seasoned just right.

You can tell they care about the details here — from the quality of the ingredients to how well the food is presented. Staff were upbeat and helpful, and service was quick even during the lunch rush.

It’s got a cool, casual vibe — the kind of place you’ll keep coming back to, whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or catching up with friends. Hands down one of the best smash burger spots I’ve been to in a long time.
