U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer — Local services in Winter Haven

This is the absolute worst place to ever rent any kind of U-Haul. I went there and rented a U-Haul it was $47 and some change when we got inside the U-Haul there was no gas the gas light was on. We had to go to another store after leaving that store and put $10 of gas in the U-Haul because we were only going 7 miles up the road to get furniture that I had recently purchased. I then called the owner of the Chevron and let him know the situation he said that he would take care of it I return the U-Haul in about an hour and this morning I had a charge on my debit card for an additional $30 on top of the $47 I paid yesterday to rent a U-Haul for two hours. So I called the station and asked the gentleman why I was being charged another $30 he said because I did not return the U-Haul with gas I’ve been refreshed his memory and said that that is how I got the U-Haul and I called him yesterday to let him know there was no gas in reminded him that he said that he would take care of it Of course he acted totally oblivious and did not help me. This is by far the most awful and worst place I would not recommend it to customer service sucks and you will be billed additional charges and fees for things that should not apply VERYYYYY UNHAPPY!!!!!!! I would not ever recommend this place again ever !!!! A simple U-Haul rental that should’ve cost me the $47 ended up costing me $80 because of the $10 I had to put in the gas when I got the U-Haul because the gas light was on and the additional $30 he charged me for returning it with no gas...

I gave this place 1 star because it was at night when we dropped off and it didn't seem the safest place to be. There were people outside arguing and shoving where we were told to park the truck and this had been the second time we attempted to drop off that day but due to the actions of others they allow on the property, it wasn't safe either time. Finally on the second attempt, the owner had to come out and remove them so we could return our rental. This also caused me to be charged for another day. The owners are also not very professional as I had to wait for the wife who was busy behind the counter with her baby. I won't be using them again and this is sad as we...

I needed a uhual, and this is where they sent me. Many miscommunications with a woman on the phone, who misunderstood my questions or...I don't even know. She told me they had no trailers, but uhual corporate office said it was there. She said no the second time I called saying uhual said my reservation was there. Frustrating. Third time calling she handed off the phone to a man who agreed it was there. We picked it up with no issues, he was okay to work with but it was all just sketchy.
