UPDATE** SUPERIOR QUALITY AND EXTRAORDINARY CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!
After having Eduardo and the team install my system about a year ago, I had some issues with the DSP I purchased. I was in a pinch with a road trip coming up over the weekend with a dead stereo. Eduardo suggested some troubleshooting tips to see if I could resolve and not have to drive 40minutes to the shop. This included multiple text messages with pictures and indicators of settings I could try.
Well, it didnt work unfortunately and Techno Express was fully booked on a Friday. Eduardo said hey bring it down and he'll look at it at the end of the day, again on a Friday. I showed up around 4:30 (closing at 6) and the team stayed past closing to help solve my issue. Ultimately, the DSP had a factory defect but I planned to upgrade anyway. So I bought a Helix DSP Ultra S last minute on a Friday and he and the team upscaled my DSP Mini tune to the new form factor and installed the Ultra for me. Something i would have expected to take a few hours but multiple people were brought in to get me running again.
Additionally, the Ultra is easily triple the size of the Mini it replaced and I just figured they'd shoe horn it onto the amp rack. To my surprise, they cut out a new addition in the same black mdf and attached it to fit the new DSP onto my rack and it looked great. Even beveled the edges to fit the rest of the rack.
They are taking care of the warranty on the old unit and even price matched the Ultra to a retail outfit online without asking. Keep in mind, when I had the first install done they realized I had a tos link hookup and they gave me a tos link fiber cable at cost because he knew it would sound better that way. I mean, thats just pure trust in their understanding and technical proficiency. Ive been to other shops that would have carried on with the cables provided but it took caring about their work to do that. Its very seldom you come across a shop that treats you and your vehicle as one of their own. Quality human beings and Superior Quality in craftsmanship and customer service.
I am very comfortable taking my truck to them and I know it will come back better than I left it. If it can't, Eduardo is so trustworthy that he would tell me he wasn't happy with where it is and then he'd suggest how he was going to fix it. Customer for life. I've also got my nephew prepping to get his system installed soon!!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo as we did with auto mechanics, we were back at it with taking 7 of the same cars to 7 different car audio locations around the Orlando area. I will not be including names, rather, the prices they charged and what issues, if any, occurred and how it was handled.
Techno Express was $1320 with having to hook up two amps, all new speakers all around, amp rack as well as testing and tuning everything. I rounded it off for the cost. For this location I had no issues as we did with other locations. No scratches. No dents. No missing clips from the doors (we checked) and they truly took the time to explain everything and offer recommendations to consider with a true explanation as to why. Very clean install, especially with the amps as you can see in the pictures.
Other pricing is as follows with issues.
$1550 - they could not get everything working and refused to try and fix
$1100 - had issues with getting the stock head unit to work correctly and lost functionality of back up camera. Refused to take responsibility.
$950 and it was a horrible experience and the car was pulled and taken because the sheer amount of paint issues and broken interior pieces was excessive.
$1190 this long standing company took two fulls days and I'm very sure they were more interested in using drugs than getting the job done. Bunch of amateurs.
$1215 and this was the closest to working but we found shorts in the wire as they some how had nicks in the wiring that we found under the panels. They refused to fix.
Last one we cancelled as they rescheduled 3 times and did not seem like they knew what they were doing in any car other than cars from 2002 and older
If anyone is truly wondering where to go where a company actually knows technology of today and how to work with it and even offer options and explain pros and cons, I would welcome you to go to Techno Express. It is the only company who took all the time they needed to ensure it was working as it should be. The pricing is more than fair and around market value as it should be. I have been up since 2 am because I just had complete clarity that Eduardo from Techno Express 100% tricked me to come back knowing he was going to reverse all the work that I sat at his shop for for 5 hours the day before when he lied and said he would finish the job for no further cost ⦠not reverse it all without my knowing. The first job was promised that my two amps would be put in for the highs and lows for $250, but only installed one to where the system sounded worse than the factory. It was all low bass and sounded like crap to the point where I couldnāt even listen to it for two days.
I donāt want this to happen to anyone else, and I have much more on what they put me through in a 2-day period, including keeping me there for 5 hours, saying, āoh, itās almost doneā for the LAST TWO HOURS. They said it would only take 3 hours. Also, I had to drink water from their bathroom sink and was starving, thinking I would get to leave soon for 2 hours. WORST communication, customer service, and respect. They LIED the entire time from the first conversation down to when I left very upset. I lost money on my own clients and from all the time spent being there and going back the next day to not have my car for hours on end again.
The point is that he admitted he knew he didnāt have enough equipment to do the job I asked for but yet started the job they knew they would not be able to do correctly for the price they quoted and did not give me a choice to pay more to finish it and instead made me spend almost 10 hours in two days waiting for it to be out back to the original state as I brought it in as but now my car has been torn apart and the part I bought are now used and packaging thrown away.
