Lakeview Serious Sandwiches — Restaurant in Florida

Tried Lakeview Serious Sandwiches today for the first time and was SUPER impressed! For one, since it was our first visit we didn't know they close at 2pm and arrived at 2:10pm and the Owners were very kind and offered to stay open a bit later to accommodate us. We quickly ordered and their suggestions were their Philly Cheesesteak and their Chicken Avocado Wrap. We agreed to take them up on these two. OMGOSH. They were both SO good! The Chicken Avocado was a sizeable wrap with lots of garlicky and flavorful chicken, romaine lettuce and avocado. The Philly Cheesesteak REALLY blew our minds. It was better than any I've had in town (so far) and the bread was almost like a Cuban style (crunchy crust but soft on the inside). It was about a footlong, so very generous. The service, pricing and quality/taste were all on point. The Owners explained that they've been there for 21 yrs and their business was thriving for most of that time as they were supported mainly by the Office Park they are located in. When the Pandemic hit, many offices closed down with Employees now working from home, so they lost a ton of business during the past 3 yrs. They asked that if we really enjoyed our visit to please spread the word, as that is what they are truly relying on now is word of mouth advertising, so I'm keeping my promise to them. It is DEFINITELY worth you trying and I know for sure I'll be back again to try more of their other options too (but not sure how I'll get past not ordering these same two again!) This might be my new favorite sandwich shop. Was in the area and needed to find a quick place to pick up lunch for my family and found this place recommended on google maps. Was a bit difficult to find as a newcomer as they are tucked in the back of building 4. But there are plenty of signs in the grass to point you in the right direction!!

Came in 15 minutes before closing and was honestly a bit worried but the man at the counter greeted me and my dad with a huge smile and 10/10 customer service. Asked if we ever been here before and gave us a run down of the menu. While we waited for our food, he gave us 2 drinks and 2 bags of chips on the house as we waited outside overlooking a beautiful view of the lake. The man came out chatted with us for a bit and personally bagged our food to go and wished us a great rest of the day and to let him know how the food was. Well here I am to let him know how good that food was.

We ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, a Philly, and chicken Ceaser wrap. All 3 were so incredibly fresh and delicious. Buns toasted, meats juicy, and toppings fresh (and that’s after been sitting in the car for about 20 minutes). Thank you, the food was absolutely delicious. Ok I am gobsmacked. This is the best tikka masala I have ever had. It was just spicy enough, not saucy, and the meat was so tender but still charred. I will definitely drive the 20 minutes again to get that.

But we also got a salad which was amazing. They used really high quality ingredients, the tomato was delicious on top. I also ordered beef samosas which I ate too quickly to picture but were great too.

There’s also an outside sitting area with a beautiful view, and the owner was super friendly. As others have pointed out, it’s hard to find, but just walk to the pond/lake at the back. Definitely worth a destination trip. I believe their current hours are 10-2 weekdays, but I would...
