The Install Pro — Local services in Winter Park

The guys here are amazing! I brought them my 2022 Toyota Tacoma SR access cab with the utility package, aka stripped down base model work truck with a lot left to be desired.

It came with only 1 keyed driver door entry and no fob = many steps around the truck getting in and out working not to mention not being able to open the passenger door for my wife, yeah I still do that. Toyota also removed the speakers in the back and didn't run wires into the back doors for them to be added and as we found out later the radio head unit is geared only to properly power the front 4 speakers and sends only a weak signal to the back.

The guys figured out how add a module and give me a fob for entry to the truck and then add an inline amp to make up the difference in the power loss for the back speakers they installed. I could've bought a new radio head unit to resolve the issue but would have lost the interface to controls programmed into the factory radio for door locks and dash colors etc.. without adding more interface modules. The sound system jams and plays much louder than I'll ever turn it up to. I figure if you can feel the music and the rear view mirror vibrates using stock speakers + kickers in the back then what more could you ask for.

Auto technology is an ever moving target, the guys don't always have all the answers up front but what they do have is years of experience and the ability to learn and grow and keep moving forward. I've spent much time sitting and talking with them, they're self employed everyday people like me who strive to serve our community and are grateful for the opportunity to help people.

As an important side note, "The Install Pro" charged me 1/3 the cost I was quoted by other reputable companies in my area. After having gotten to know them I will always go to and refer them for anybody's vehicle accessory needs.

Although I have not had Alfredo perform actual audio work for me yet, I spoke with him today about my current install (which I did), design issues and issues that I am experiencing. He spent time on the phone with me, talked through some troubleshooting options for me to perform on my own to help address the issues. We also discussed about if I cannot address them, that I can bring it in for further discussions, options and work that his shop can perform for me. He was very knowledgeable and open to options to look at it, versus being set in a particular way. It was a great conversation and look forward to work with him and the shop if I cannot address my problems myself. I will likely take additional work that I want to do for the truck to them to do. (I.E. installing component speakers)

UPDATE: As indicated above, I took additional work to Alfredo and The Install Pro. The additional work that I had done was to install new component speakers, remove existing DSP and AMPS, replacing them with newer DSP AMPS, plus a list of other items that I asked him to complete. Alfredo was AWESOME to work with and was very receptive to me being involved in the process of addressing my objectives and goals in the new audio system for my truck. The new system is exactly what I wanted i to be. It handles my diverse music tastes, has plenty of volume for when I want to play it loud, has the clarity and crispness to handle the subtle music styles that I like. So I got a new stereo for my car for Christmas. I called around to get quotes and possible appointment times for Best Buy and couple of other shops. Every single one of them told me it would be a 3 week wait. When I called The Install Pro, Alfredo gave me a quote and was able to make an appointment for the same week(I had to make it for the following week due to my class schedule and work). Not only did he get me an appointment so quickly, he comes to you(which is incredibly convenient for a college student who doesn't have time to stop writing papers and studying for 2-3 hours to drive to a shop). He called and confirmed the day before my appointment to get my address and, unlike most service appointments, he arrived about 10 minutes early(which I love!). Once he got to work, it took maybe an hour and a half(that I was able to sit inside my apartment working on biology homework) and then the job was done. Alfredo called me outside about halfway through to discuss an option with my new stereo because it was too large to fit the front plate and still have the screen open to insert CDs without sticking out and looking odd. He informed me of the pro's and cons of each option and I decided to go with the option that looked better(I never really listen to CDs).
