My husband and I went today for the lunch buffet. They had one waitress running the whole floor, so getting her attention was not the easiest of things. But even more concerning is that at first I found something floating in my drink. I finally got her attention to get a new drink which took quite some time. In the midst of waiting I went to get a salad and when I came back I opened my silverware to find it was greasy and dirty. It looked exactly like they wrapped dirty ones. My husband looked at his and found it was dirty too. The waitress finally brought me a new drink and we explained the silverware situation to her. She said our dishwasher is messing up so we've been rinsing them off. She said she would discuss it with her manager and let us know what they could do. She never brought me new silverware. I took a set off of the table next to us. They were dirty too. I took the second set and guess what they were dirty too 🤬. The waitress buzzed by us again and we told her about the silverware and she finally had another set for me. While waiting I drank some of my new drink and found something red caked inside my glass. I was beyond done by this point. I called Jefferson County Health Department and they seemed as grossed out as me so hopefully something is done about it like she said she would. However, tonight, we ordered at the pickup window and they blatantly forgot to make our wings (not an issue) and we were asked to pull forward to wait on them as it would be a few minutes. We received no receipt and we’re not asked to sign like every other time I have used the window. I pull up, 15 minutes go by, we go back to the window to see how long it will be, we are straight up ignored by all 4 ladies standing up front. After a few minutes, a lady comes up and asked us to pull forward again where I then asked to have the food refunded, as our pizza was already beginning to get cold. She said she’d have the boss process the refund and to pull up again. No apology, sorry for the inconvenience, etc. 10 minutes go by, the “boss” comes out, hands us the money with yet again no receipt, not a single word spoken and just trots back inside.
I’ve never had an issue with this location but tonight was just not right. Working in food service previously, communication is key. If we would have been updated, or even offered to have the pizza remade for us, not full on ignored this review would...
Read moreThe server was rude & unprofessional. Her posture and body language was obviously telling us to hurry up & leave. She didn't offer any refills to our fountain drinks despite us overtly showing her we wanted them. We slurpped loudly & shook empty glasses at her & she simply walked passed us. Furthermore, she forgot to place our sons order which caused us to wait an additional 15 minutes. On a positive note his order ended up being free thanks to an understanding manager. Yet, the salad on the salad bar was wilted at 6pm (dinner rush). Overall, it was the worst experience we've had at a Pizza Hut. My advice is to go to DiCarlo's or Domino's...
