Do not live here (I lived here for several years). Mold, poor ventilation and insulation (so even worse for your health with mold, especially if you have asthma/lung disease), no response to maintenance requests that are not mandated by law. Pros: Brian (superintendant at the property) and other staff at the property are easy to work with and do what they can to help out, to the extent the central office permits them. The pond has a running trail, parking is reasonable, rent is cheap for what you are getting. Cons: You are getting less than what you pay. Our AC unit and bathroom grew mold. Despite communicating this with the "help line" multiple times, nothing was done and we were breathing it in for a year with the AC unit and months with the bathroom despite appropriately maintaining both. As someone who has allergies, this negatively affected my health. I also had concerns of it with my newborn, particularly with the paint chipping and, yes, falling into the bathtub/shower while I was in it. The apartment unit did not do anything about this even after making it very clear how bad mold is for children. I have included photos of the mold. Other cons: 1. The glass base of our refrigerator cracked. I notified the help line about this and nothing happened. It then shattered, and still no help. We were left without a level in our refrigerator for a year with no follow up. Pictures attached. 2. The AC unit grew mold as I mentioned, despite cleaning the filter. I asked for help multiple times, even guidance on how to clean it myself. No assistance was provided, even with the heat getting bad. It was also an old model so energy (and energy bill) inefficient. 3. Poor ventilation in apartments and laundry rooms. You will smell what is going on in other units, which can be extremely strong. This can also include cigarette and marijuana smoke, which can negatively affect your health regardless of whether or not you are sensitive to it. Laundry rooms are no exception. 4. Poor noise insulation between apartments. You will hear your neighbors, including when they are sharing intimate moments. 5. Residents do not respect terms of lease regarding storage of items in the hallway. The hallways are a mess and a fire code violation and safety concern. Most units store items, including trash, outside in the hallways causing smells and safety concerns. Our neighbor stored large amounts of unattended alcohol in the hallway (photos). There are children in the building. 6. Unresponsive central management. The central office will not call you back if you call their line. Have questions or concerns? They will not help you. The local management is bound by central management (this is not their fault, just the structure of the owners), so they can only do so much. 7. Maintenance teams would drop into your unit without any warning from management. While the "help" line asks if they can come in without you present, they came by multiple times when this was not the case. There was also no communication on when they may come if I did request law mandated repairs. This is a long review, after staying at this unit for a reasonably long time. I would strongly caution anyone from living at this location, even for solely a year. Sure, maybe nothing will go wrong that is not mandated by law to be fixed. How would you handle the AC with the apartment breaking down during the summer? Or the apartment having poor insulation where it can get very cold in the winter? Or the fridge cracking? That would be enough to give me pause and reconsider the investment. Sure, the rent is inexpensive. Though deciding whether or not that is worth the stress of dealing with issues like I mentioned above is something you would have to make for yourself. I would not live here again.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!! Do NOT let prices sway you-this property is falling apart and infested with rats. Every building is battered, DIRTY, and in disrepair. There is virtually no upkeep and trash is legitimately CONSTANTLY overflowing into the back lot. On two instances, maintenance let themselves into our unit with no warning, and in a non emergency situation (which is ILLEGAL). On the second instance, our bathroom vanity sink was replaced and all personal belongings that were stored in there were thrown into the bathtub. The door was also left unlocked when whoever was in there left. When this instance was discussed with facilities, they claimed they had “no idea” when maintenance was coming either (???!!!???) There is almost never parking due to no assigned parking or guest parking and sometimes we would be circle our own lot for an hour late at night, just to find a space for our vehicle. The shared laundry is a nightmare. There is only one washer and dryer for about 12 units. No one ever moves over laundry on time (common in apartment buildings), but once another tenant put their dirty sneakers in with my husbands clean laundry in the dryer ( also ???!!!???!) I have other details I could share in this review but I hope the above is enough. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

It’s ok if you don’t care there’s mold or things wrong. Ladies in management office are rude grumpy old ladies. You have to personally tell maintenance do not enter home unless I am here. Bathrooms have no ventilation so it is infested with black mold. I’ve never seen a mouse or rat however. I’ve lived here for three years and I’ve never seen anyone serviced the AC units. If something is wrong, it either never gets fixed or takes forever when you’re not expecting it to get fixed. They also take forever to get out the new leases. My dishwasher is very rusty. The dryer doesn’t work in my unit. The pond is nice but it may not be worth the mold and chipping paint...
