I was a CSA member at Root Connection before Ecolibrium Farms took over following last season. The CSA has lost so much value in quantity and variety compared to what i received last year. I do a half share which means I pick up every other week. I feel like there is very little consideration for 1/2 share members and the variety they are offered. They list what is offered each week (mostly...) and i can tell that week A is getting stuff multiple times that week B can only buy in the store (kohlrabi etc) and this will be my 3rd week in a row of cabbage. While im grateful to have access to pesticide free produce, what I am being given as my share is not even close to worth the roughly $65/week membership, even with the u-pick access. And the kicker is that they are selling the stuff in the store front that they aren't even offering to members. It also feels like the CSA stuff is just hidden in a corner and the store is the main focus. No more than 1 person call collect their items at a time, it leads to awkward congestion and the community spirit that was so incredible during the Root Connection years has been hard to find. Im really disappointed by the changes and the value of the membership no longer seems worth it. Also, using herbs, garlic, or stuff like kale thats available in the u-pick area as a box item it pretty disappointing as well. I miss the variety of greens and lettuces from last year and especially that there wasnt such a big difference in A & B weeks value and variety. I know there needs to be variety for ppl who pick up every week but it feels like one group is consistently getting a filler week basket and theres a lack of hero items or specialty things that I really looked forward to in the past.

Had amazing experience here! Would much rather support locally vs Wholefoods and a better price. Highly recommend and great quality produce.

My husband and I recently signed up for a second season of CSA shares with Ecolibrium Farm and we couldn't be more excited! Their weekly produce is super fresh and has a great variety of different veggies. Last summer we were encouraged us to try things we had never previously ventured upon, like kohlrabi, which we ended up loving. Being a part of Ecolibrium's CSA farm share has upped healthfulness in our meals. We are excited for this...
