I had my wedding nearby a few years ago. We visit Cave B on our anniversary annually with friends & family in tow - and a handful of times throughout the year. The wine itself is quite lovely (our favorites are the Chenin Blanc, caveman red, pink & bubbly… looking forward to their release of a petite Bordeaux wine this summer). Our only frustration is the woman who is regularly pouring in the tasting room. She isn’t super helpful with our questions and seems rushed every time we go in for a tasting. Today she was training someone and was talking to her very condescendingly to the point where it was awkward for us on the other side of the counter. The only reason we stopped in was to finally pull the pin and become wine members because we were out of caveman red at home. She wouldn’t let us use May’s wine club perks, telling us our first case would be in September. We shrugged it off and purchased 6 bottles anyways. She refused to provide a bag carrier, telling us that the winery was running low on said bags and they were for existing wine club members only. We’ve spent thousands of dollars here between anniversary celebrations, family gatherings, and climbing retreats. Todays experience was very disheartening and left a bad taste in our mouths. All of this transpired on Mother’s Day. My husband, toddler and I left the tasting room cradling our bottles to the car. Might be worth the $50 wine club cancellation fee since we weren’t able to use any of the benefits of it and felt brushed off by the woman representing the winery for yet another outing. Hopefully the new trainee is warmly welcomed by Cave B, she was a delight...
Read moreThis is THE best winery in Woodinville...hands-down.
The lot that it sits on is so serene, peaceful, vibrant yet secluded.
When it is nice out, you can sit in one of their many tables on the pristine stone walkway and face the sun....or you can sit inside in their cute tasting room in a log-cabin vibe....country feel in the city...as Woodinville is so well-known for.
The gals there are top-notch, cute, kind, entertaining, and wait on ya hand and foot.
They have yard golf to play on a large slab of grass that lies on the property with picnic tables which also make this dog friendly.
NOW to their wines.....BEST and largest selection (white, rose, sparkling and reds!!). This is rare and they are ALL amazing!!! Best sparkling rose I've ever had, and their price points are right in anyone's wheelhouse. The Viognier, Sav Blanc, dry rose and riesling are outstanding!
Their wine club is such no pressure and so easy to manage. You can cherry-pick, tailor and modify each shipment should you choose the "Inspire" club. This allows you to buy what you are "feeling" and also "save" here and there if you should choose.
Al, Val and Kirsten are such great gals and I HIGHLY recommend this place...if you're a local like myself, or even a wino/tourist!! Don't...
Read moreMy husband and I brought our pups here the last warm weekend we had and were able to snag a seat the last seat on the patio. We hadn't planned on wine tasting so didn't have reservations but they were really welcoming and able to get us in when most other places had crazy waiting times or didn't want to deal with dogs in their space. The patio was an awesome space that didn't feel like you were sitting on a busy road. The staff was so friendly and even brought water for the dogs. We'll definitely be coming back -- excellent...
