Walmart Pharmacy — Local services in Woodland Park

I went through the trouble of switching my prescriptions to them, only to find out I'd have to pay more than double for pain medication. They refuse to accept discounts for it. They changed my medication from levothyroxine to "euthyrox," which caused horrendous chest pains like a heart attack, muscle spasms and a headache. When I told the pharmacist, he argued euthyrox was "better" and Walmart automatically replaces all prescriptions with it... even though heart attacks are a common symptom! I called to have my prescription switched back to the same medication (levothyroxine), then double-checked it was filled correctly before going again... only to get there and find out they'd filled wrong again and I'd have to come back a third time. They only had three days of the right medication! I'd previously asked that a note be put in my records to never give me euthyrox again due to the severe pain/side effects it caused me, but they failed to do so. When I switch back to my other pharmacy, two of my prescriptions won't transfer... so my doctor has to reorder them (which will take days). Walmart was a complete waste of my time....

Walmart pharmacy is always great! Today Margaret really made it exceptional for me. When she realized that my insurance hadn't covered my prescription she went to double check why. When she figured out it wasn't a mistake she hooked me up with some RX discounts that brought my price down considerably! Some people don't understand what it's like to have to choose antibiotics for your kid or food for the family. That's where we were today... Margaret didn't know that but she did know that she could help bring my out of pocket cost down...and she did! Thank you to the Wal-Mart Pharmacy staff for always...

Fast service, prescriptions are usually ready same day pretty quickly after it is sent in. Have not had a problem yet. Will continue to use the Walmart pharmacy rather than other pharmacys in...
