The market every town WISHES they had! I wish I'd known about this place earlier. Small and astonishingly COMPLETE store considering it's footprint.

Deli. - A proper deli. FINALLY! I've been looking for something like this since moving here. Good selection. Reasonable prices. Top notch service. Personalized options. Great touch even getting the paper (to prevent sticking) between the cheese slices!

Hot Prepared Foods - Looked darn good! We made the mistake of arriving hungry and it was a test of self control! Lots of customers buying lunch here. Love it!

Seafood - Lovely woman told me their primary seafood day is Thursday. (early mornin' arrival from Charleston) Smaller shipments come on Tuesdays. She is amazingly personable and helpful and one can even put in requests for specialty items or party-level needs. (Please give adequate notice. - Tuesday night notice for Thursday's shipment)

This is an absolute gem of a store. Kudos to the owners...

I've been a long time shopper of the Brown's (owner/operaters). They always have the best selection of meats. If you don't see what you Need they will cut it for you. It's not very common to find a store that slices, dices, filets, cubes and grinds any meat you want from open to close. Ur lucky to see anyone in the meat dept in chain stores or any meat! Lol. Not. They do still practice a level of customer service from long ago. Watch'em cut it just for you while you wait.

While the prices may be a little higher right now: you can't put a price on the quality customer service of years and years ago. I appreciate the family and how they have kept to the values of long ago. It ain't just fatback and salty pork anymore.thats for sure! Keep up the Good Job!!

We finally made it to the Country Meat Center in Woodruff South Carolina. I can’t believe I waited so long to check them out. I’m making a Deep South Soul Food dinner this Sunday and was looking for pigs feet and neck bones. This was the first place I thought of. I loved all of the old fashioned meats and other products that they carry in the store. All of the meats look very fresh and the produce looked just picked. I’d been looking for some fresh okra for the last two weeks and they had plenty for only $2.99 a pound. They were nice and soft with not a single blemish anywhere. The store was nice and clean and didn’t smell like old meat like other meat markets. The staff was super friendly at checkout and she told us about their Facebook page where I could see their weekly sales. She also told us that the bakery gives out free samples on Wednesdays.
