Daft Punk. Skrillex. Kygo. DJ Soundtastic. If we could give Mike, aka “DJ Soundtastic,” more than five stars, we absolutely would! From the beginning, he was incredibly easy to work with, very responsive over email, and completely understood the vibe we were going for on our wedding day. We met with Mike a couple of times over Zoom to talk about the flow of the day and work out details, but we also found his website planning tools very helpful. We felt prepared going into our wedding day and comfortable that Mike knew what he was doing and had everything handled. He provided sound and music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and we also opted to use his lighting and photo booth, both of which were well worth it! Our guests absolutely LOVED our photo booth and we had so much fun going through all of the pictures after our wedding. Not only was Mike an amazing emcee—from the hilarious wedding party introductions to a game he suggested that allowed us to get pictures with all of our guests to generally keeping the flow of events and speeches moving—but the music he played was absolutely phenomenal. We had multiple guests tell us how great the DJ was, with more than one saying he was the best wedding DJ they had ever heard! WE COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!!! Mike and his associates are simply the best in the business, from their professionalism during every step of the process, right through the event itself where their experience and love for what they do really shines. Mike has top of the line, sleek, and minimalistic equipment that KICKS A**!!! The sound quality and lighting was top notch, and if you opt for the package with the photo booth (which we highly recommend!) you will be pleasantly surprised that it has a tiny footprint, it's modern, and very user friendly. Mike has a custom application that you will be given access to that makes planning and organizing the music and the event itself SO EASY! He and his team really have their profession down to a science, and it will become evident from your first interaction with them. And finally, speaking about the people themselves, Mike and his associates are all just great people. Kind, easy going, and friendly, they will put your mind at ease when you have 50 other things to stress about. And I know I am a broken record, but their experience really shows. Mike and team can read social situations like savants, and they know exactly when to cut a song short when your first dance is running out of steam, and when to play a song that will really elevate everyone's experience on the dance floor. I wish I could give Soundtastic 10 stars! From the first zoom call to plan our wedding with Michael, we had a good feeling about him. His app for selecting and planning our music was so helpful and allowed us to easily personalize every detail of the processional, recessional, reception entrance, and dinner music. We allowed our kids to pick a few too many of the songs for open dancing so some of the older folks complained about the song choices, but that is totally on us. The result was the dance floor was packed with our 20/30-something friends and family but not so much our older friends and family. His setup is first-class. Almost everything is wireless, from the speakers and lighting to his sound equipment and microphones. He worked flawlessly with our event planner and made sure everything went off perfectly. His photo booth was a massive hit. The quality of the photos was terrific. We are loving going through the hundreds of candid pics friends and family did in the booth.
